No im not polishingy housing. Lol. I ground down the lip on the intake to weld a 45 right onto the hx40 comp housing to get the future joint location to a safer(cooler) location away from the header. I dont know if itll be a vband or a silicone joint yet, well see. The comp housing also had a casting seam on it so i just wanted to smooth that off, a bump next to "holset" and volvo. Still on the fence about the "vulva" mod. :-)

hey guys, not mush to report tonight. I emailed a Tial some time ago to inquire where to get a 2.5" "non weave" flex section for my v60 WG tube. a few hours later i got a reply reffering me to a site! Damn!

So heres the place... http://reidwashbon.com/

They got some really nice stuff!

I ordered the 2.5" flex from race parts solution, but the wall thickness was 10 thousandths...so yeah, its being returned. Reid Washbon says theres is .065 wall because it has the sleeve inside unlike what I had gotten from RPS. The bad news is the damn thing its 76 dollars, it better have a fucking ribbon on it. So waiting for that but plenty to do. Hopefully ill have something to report at the end of tomorrow. thanks for the kind words, its nice to hear! Soon I can :drive: this damn thing!

ALSO hank I need an oilpan! lol dont make me modify mine further!!!

SO..got the primaries all finished. I'll report on lengths when it comes apart to be welded. 4 is def a bit short and everything else is prob -/+ 1", I figure its better than any old 20v turbo manfifold thats non tubular.

Yeah! ...and also, forget about that silly plus-sized flex bellow and run open wastegate dump screamer action!

On a more serious note, there looks to be plenty of DP room - maybe that'll make you feel better about all of the other clearance challenges?

Pretty much. Id like to keep open wg as an option, but not a limitation. Although it tempting because itd be so much simpler

So i need to order a 2.5 45 deg alum bend. Aldo need to order fans for the rad, two 12" wont fit due to the 4" IC core. Before i can go further on the dp/wg tube i need the header welded. Then wg tube, dp, axles, oil pan, drain line fans....ummm more welding lol. Most the fab is done on the car besides the WG tube. Just a shitload of final welding to do. I think the car will be driven with low boost unbuilt for carlisle. I really want to drive it there and doubt ill have funds/time to build the block.
