Nice to see some headway on the project. One the most stunning 4kq's I've ever seen. 8)

well, i didn't get to do much on my car this week :( but it's ok. keeping the shop functioning while my dad recovers from his hernia is more important... i guess :P

i did however score some wheelios for it :D 18x10's with 255/35/18's are on the slate... mm, wiiiide. i was planning a switch over to two piece struts anyhow... so i'd like to find some RS2 hubs now, because if i go straight 5x112, i'll have to buy adapter which will eat up 15-20mm of precious wheel space. if i spend the adapter money on 5x130 hubs, then i'll be heading in the right direction. plus i'll have a choice of touareg and cayenne rotors to go with my 6piston brakes :D

also, at this point i'm gonna probably have to build a new front subframe, lower control arms, and i've got some nifty idears for upper control arms and coilover shocks. this is gonna be trouble 8)

I think they would look better if they were black or gunmetal.

the good thing is that the paint on these need some help anyway... so i can try a gloss black one.. or even matte black like i love so much on the A6... man this is a fun game! i wanna play again :D

I like the Idea of black wrinkle :)

NO. black wrinkle on wheels would be a nightmare. brake dust would get trapped in the wrinkles and look like pooh... sorry man, that ain't happenin.

i've already thought about that box... trust me. i'm just not sure about it yet......

:EDIT: the rotor would be super close to the ground if i ran them on the axle flanges.... so i'll have to leave them safely inside the wheels for now.
