Rear diff seal replacement
Rear diff seal replacement
I'm wanting to replace the rear diff seals and wanted to see if anyone had done this before or had any tips for doing it. I don't want to stick a leaky/oily rear diff under the car after replacing and painting everything. Do I run the risk of having to set up backlash or something that might get me in a bind?

Re: Rear diff seal replacement
The output flanges are held in by a dinky 8mm bolt and just slide out of the splines on the side at least. No adjustment required, the seals are pretty easy to replace.
