It's light, but I think that's going to be really loud. And for me, I wouldn't mind even quieter exhaust than what I have now....remember, no turbo here to muffle it. I am curious to hear it though...get some videos up when it's running.
By the time I am to the downpipe, we are talking 800 degrees or less, at that is at WOT. Once it gets hot that initial time, it will oxidize and that oxide layer is VERY hard and deals with heat nicely. We will see, wont we
If I had a NA car that only saw 900 degrees at the header and 500 at the downpipe, you better believe I would run an aluminum exhaust. Why not?
