Whoever makes those adapter cups should make a version that allows use of a second clip to keep them in the rail...

loxxrider wrote:I may not have been super clear before... I think the hats are addressing the issues you are pointing out directly. Instead of the shallow groove where the o-ring currently sits, there will be a shoulder there... There will also be clip grooves added to the hats.

Again, I'm very sorry about this... rest assured the new hats will solve the problem :)

She currently sits while some things currently get figured out, new parts arrive to lighten up the mood

GM OEM 13577429 FlexFuel Sensor
GM OEM 13352241 Wiring Harness
30FT of Conductive Core PTFE Fuel Hose
Assorted PTFE Compatible Reusable Fittings

I went with Teflon hoses simply for it's sheer superiority to the commonly used cheaper Nitrile variant. It's resistance to deterioration with corrosive fuels and it's overall flow characteristics made the choice easy. I will never have to touch these hoses again and will probably outlive the car. Money well spent IMO with peace of mind knowing that I've decreased the chance of any lean condition caused by a blocked fuel passage caused by an inferior hose.

Now should I spring for the Zeitronix ECA/LCD unit to feed 0-5V to a VEMS input for Ethanol info or should I limit the amount of gauges and just feed VEMS raw frequency from this sensor and create a gauge in VEMS which I could then duplicate on my Android Device for a readout... (not sure if the latter is possible)

Well I fueled up for the first time that very day and was a able to up the boost gradually as it mixed into the system. By the time I had it dialed in I fried injector output #1 causing that injector to stay wide open.... here's a clear indicator...

The guy on the s2forum has his own brew of cams which is what he's testing. My 7a's should spool this up quicker than his more aggressive regrinds. We'll see when I go to Marc for finalization.

But seriously, this is a base 24-25psi 3rd gear run to give you an idea of where this is in terms of spool. It's an overlay of my MTM 1+ vs PTE5862. As you can see right were torque plateaus on 1+ is where this one shows up to the party.

4th gear pulls would've given me better spool and peak numbers, but I didn't bother.

The "old" spool looks more like 3400 to me, sure there is a small dip after that but it still looks fully spooled to me.

Yup fully spooled on that k24 line 3400, after the dip it plateaus and falls out right when this one goes into it.
