Sorry for the website issues

Post by Marc »

i know traffic is low lately but i've been getting multiple down notifications from the server. I dont have much time for website dev these days but looking into it amazon bots have been hammering this site for some unknown reason. i drop kicked them at the door and things seem back to normal.

Project on.

Thanks for keeping this unusually cool corner of the internet alive. Would love to see more from your shop but it’s probably impossible to post on top of everything else going on!

Hi Ed! a lot changes in 15 years but glad to see so many familiar names still checking in.

just fixed some image URL issues with my old gallery software so some of the deal image links should be coming back.

had to refer back to my own notes from a project link on my wagon about oil cooler stuff. old useful info shouldn't die. I'll try to keep it that way.

Right on Marc... Thanks for keeping it alive!

Just boring family-hauler VAG cars for me at the moment, Q7 and Atlas. Need a bigger garage or driveway to fit something fun.

Hello. I’m trying to upload some pics and I keep getting “The image file you tried to attach is invalid”. Anyone else having this issue? Show me the way. Thanks!

I think i responded to this one directly but the problem is just on phones. the browser version on a pc/mac uploads photos just fine. i spent a bit of time trying to work around the issue a couple weeks ago and got to a dead end. I'll try again as time opens up.

Alright. some big changes. updated to PHPBB3.3.15 which required several things to update. the downside: I couldn't easily migrate the theme so i just started over with a template that looked ok. i dont have a ton of time these days to figit with look and feel items. i just need shit to work :)

the upshot: uploading images now works properly. hopefully this should make for a much better phone experience for those trying to update projects from a phone instead of a pc. this also should improve security and avoid exploits etc.
