Oh boy, that's a nice tactic. Adapting the Sport quattro concept has been on my mind a long while.

Is there ducting into the scuttle panel / rain tray?

Velocity stack?

Thanks bud! I made a plate with a 3 inch tube to cover the hole in the bottom of the battery tray. Then since I’m not running ac I attached a 3 inch silicone hose pushed through the firewall to draw air from inside the cabin. Found spectre 4 inch duct flanges. One on the inside for a 4 inch turbo gaurd air filter. There is a few slots going into the rain tray from factory making up for the 1 inch difference. There is room for a velocity stack as well.

The mold is coming along nicely. I’m still debating on what to make the real one out of. A lot of heat will be generated under it.

Something like this looks alright... I'd guess basically any fibreglass rated for high heat will do the job nicely. If you were so inclined you could use gold foil to reflect heat away from the airbox, and/or a thin OEM-like aluminum shield as well.

That looks good! I’ll look into it further. I have a bunch of different things on the car pending. I’m running aluminum fuel line from the front midway up the firewall to under the back seat right now. Almost done. But need about 5 ptfe lined flexible hoses to finish the fuel system to hopefully be able to idle it on its own now. I’m getting there. Got everything mounted. Just need to plumb everything up

Finally got the plug made. I’m about to make the piece that actually goes onto the car. It’s going to have a boost logic universal 4” air filter

Gotcha… uses the spring tensioner instead of the water pump?
