Never, ever, EVER store E85 in an unsealed container like that. If you're going to lay up an E85-running car for more than a month or so, pump it all out and refill the tank with gasoline and run it a bit to flush the lines/injectors out. That way it won't absorb moisture from the air and turn corrosive.
It's not nearly as bad as methanol but you still need to be cautious. This is why IMO any E85 car really should be done as a flex fuel setup. (Well, that and E85 isn't always 85% ethanol)

Yeah, summit racing nitrile hoses are not merely enough protection against deterioration.
Swap out all fuel related hoses with PTFE conductive hose.
