Bonneville 2015 Update - FRP

Post by FRP »

Hey All,

I am sure most of you have herd the depressing news that Speed Week 2015 was cancelled due to over mining of salt from flats. There was a huge exposed mud flow where the courses are normally set up.

It is undetermined at this point if there will be any way to salvage the fall World Finals event. As impossible as it is to believe the mining may have irreparably damaged the course area. Whether another area can be found or whether natural or man made repairs are possible are unknown at this point.

I am waiting on word from the SCTA as to the chances of the fall event being run. This event is always an iffy deal due to the timing of the fall
rains setting back in.

The race car is ready. Due to my need to provide sponsor exposure I am considering entering the October Texas Mile event.

Thanks again for all the support and we will be at Speed Week next year if there is a place to hold it.

Was really hoping to see a new record, but a new event could prove challenging and rewarding!

Hope to see more of the car in the near future. You're representing the old school Audi crowd well :)

Sorry to hear this. On the other hand, I say head down to texas and kick some a**. I've been to both the Texas mile and the Texas Invitational ,and I can tell you people would love this car! Either way I hope you get to take her out this season.

Cheers
