We have just been popping off the 034 ring gear and pressing on factory gears off OE flywheels with a couple of stitch welds.

We can supply them without the 6 hole ring gears as well, which would probably be fine and prevent ring gear grenade. I'd just stitch the gear on with the ol TIG

So hank should I swap the gear old weld the old one. I prob have a ring gear...which ones work?

I put longer bolts in too so I think they pass damn near the whole way through
. i used the same bolts as the rear lower timing cover. The trip square ones.

Did u weld the ring gear while the trans was out. Did I say to much? UPDATE THIS!

I'll have a full update and juicy details on a new unintended direction the project has taken. pics and details to come. Lets just say for the ones that have a clue whats up....I got the chassis I said I was getting. it needs serious love. good thing I love this "project'. haha. at least its another 84...

ok quick teaser for those of you not on social media.... The URQ is coming out to play. The 4000s replacement shell I bought is rotted to the point it needs serious attention. Not in the cards at the moment. Itd literally take me less time to put my URQ back on the road. Pics and progress to come. I'm kinda trying to get it ready for wolfsgart. Which actually isnt too far fetched...

Did it puncture? I would make sure the baffles are ok, seal it up and run it.
