I really don't know what the price will be yet. I have not even gotten them on my own car yet for testing.

Any photos or diagrams of the 'wrong' ones or the right ones so that people would appreciate better what you're referring to.

Bought a third urS6 and the ride height and comfort is a high priority for me, so I want it low and soft'ish, so interested in your coil overs and top mounts to give more castor when turning.

Love your work, your car is my laptop's screensaver.

Thanks.

No, unfortunately. I sold my UrS so I'm even less motivated to work on these.

I'm probably going to be passing them off to Hank so that he can actually make them for people.

I'm collecting pieces to redo my suspension and moving to coil overs... is anyone doing these for the UrS?

Thuppu on the s2 forum is also going to or is making some. His solid front subframe mounts are quality parts.

Assuming Ed's timeline is somewhat immediate, I would suggest anyone looking for a solution in the near future get in touch with Ed. It is something I would like to pursue but we would need to gain some interest and have some success with other parts before we tool up for camber plates.

That said... the group buy for trans/diff mounts open ;)

My timeline is pretty much the opposite of immediate :)

I have no time for these, they're sitting in a box in my closet at the moment. I'll dig the box out and send it to Hank and let him take it from here.

LOL. They've been in the box for a long time...and I lost even more interest when I sold the car :)

Coil over options aren't dead, plenty out there. Diy is best imo, thuppu on the s2 forum has strut mounts for sale now. I've got a set of UrS uprights if someone needs a rust free west coast pair.

Yeah, this project died when I sold all of my UrS cars. But like Dan said, thuppu makes a nice adjustable set of mounts.

I am still doing front strut housing mods though.

I may be picking this project back up again on my end. I have what I think is a good design for this. I came up with it a few years ago but never got to test it after the first attempt. I am purchasing a CAD suite, and my motivation for this has been rekindled a bit now that I have another T44. I may need some volunteers at some point to test fitment, take measurements, etc. If I get started on this again soon, I will make a thread about it.

Here's a preview of what I was working on before. These are geared toward suspension travel as a priority. I may make some fundamental design changes to increase adjustability and fail-safe mechanisms. One of the most important aspects of the design is the angled spherical bearing mount. That helps keep the bearing in the middle of it's travel for proper loading and maximum adjustment range. When making a "straight" mount for a spherical bearing, the bearing will be almost at it's full range of motion while sitting at stock camber position.

This is the advantage of this mount. I still have to model lower profile hats, but you get the idea.
