Anybody used one of these?

I want to put the IAT sensor just before the throttle body and the best place is in the hose that attaches to it. I have my water/meth injector just upstream about 6-8". I know this could be risky, but I was thinking that some thread locker red and perhaps some epoxy would do the trick keeping the inner nut from coming off.

Other than that, I'm not sure what other options I have as I'd have to buy a bunch of new hoses and then do some welding of a bung in joiner, etc. I'd be fine doing all that except I don't have a welder, nor is there a welder up here that I can use consistently(I having a hell time just getting a BOV flange welded to some intercooler plumbing).

What do you guys think?

No, but I've seen them made before. This is a nice piece. I'd be confident in its integrity.

Never used one, but it doesn't look risky at all unless the hose busted...

These work great. We used one on my dads 500hp ISX diesel pusher. He consistently is running 40+ psI. Never have had a issue.

Good to know. What did you guys use to lock the threads inside the hose?

Friend of mine is using one on his EFI converted MK2 gli. Very easy to do and works great!

I think he just used blue locktight. It's a pretty slick design. I think you will like it.

Just one other idea but since you plan to run methanol injection the automotive goop at autopart stores works great as long as you let it cure. i've never dealt with that item you bought though so the blue loctite may be more practical.
