I'll be going if anyone is coming from the western direction. I'd like to meet up with everyone that's going from these parts so I'll be around this thread. Also if anyone has a spare bed/floor option let me know, I can kick in money ways but I'd rather not get a whole room for myself.
I missed SFest too so I'm really looking foreword to it, even though it is definitely a step down (pun intended)

I'm going, leaving from Burlington, VT area on Thursday evening. Will be staying over in PA before completing the trip Friday morning and staying till Monday when we'll leave late in the morning probably.
S-Fest is a classy event with quality people and cars. Compared to S-Fest, H2O is mayhem. Chaos. Ocean city is overrun with hooligans drag racing, launch controlling, burning out and the Police are there in force but look like a dude in a money booth trying to catch every dollar bill.
H2O is kind of like a riot, but in a positive sense. There are plenty of respectable people and cars, but the sheer volume of people/cars means there's a notable amount of crazy ones too.
Oh, and there is a car show, but most of the happenings are outside of it. There's a massive night life to this event. The show is pretty good, though the venue has changed a few times recently.

LOL, yeah, comparing h2o to //sfest or Carlisle is a joke. I'm all for some good hoonage, but I can't stand that crowd.
A true enthusiast embraces all. I've met a few people from this board for the 1st time at h2o, so I can't say it's THAT bad... The best part is knowing where all the little gtg are and hanging around those that share the same platforms. It's your choice to be with the stance guys all the way to the air cooled guys... Wide variety makes for great times...

I will be there for now the 5th year in a row. It's starting to loose it's appeal slightly however I love going down there a mopping up every tough guy in an EVO/STI/BMW/B5 S4 with my unsuspecting boat of a T44. This alone makes it worth it to me.
On top of that, I've placed third the last two years in a row. Pretty sweet!
Headed there from Albany Thursday morning until Monday.
So who is up for this year? I'm getting quite sick of the normal shenanigans at H20, but maybe we can turn the tide a bit by bringing a bunch of old stinky Audis.

It has really been invaded by the stance scene, I saw more miata's then Audi's. Every other car is a A Japanese import. Maybe I'm just getting old...I actually liked the seeing the big hp supras and evos in years past, I like cars... But I don't want to see junk with wheels that don't fit, running 30 degrees of camber....it is evolving into something other than a watercooled show.
^ I completely agree. I was just thinking we get enough of our people down there is could be fun. Still a ways a way, I'm going to try to get a good group of anti-stancers to go.

My plan is to go. I know it has really changed over the years, and I didnt get to go last year. I get a kick out of watching all the stance-tards hitting the bumps in the roads and throwing sparks. Not to mention only getting 50 miles out of a set of tires. Last time I was there I saw a civic hatch with a roof rack for nothing but spare tires & wheels! come on now, are they really getting that dumb!

Bump, I'll be taking the 90 and probably riding down with some MK1 VWs, and some other Audis. Leaving from Buffalo, NY. Who else is thinking about going?
