Drive it around the block and the belt survived :)

Turbos aren't leaking :)

Oil scavenge is not what it should be so ill have to investigate that a bit more.

Got an oil leak somewhere up top on drivers side that is getting into the header

Details now I suppose.

One bit of recent weirdness you lot might be able to help me with.

The fuel system is a pair of 044 pumps with a -10 line to the first fuel rail. There is a connector from the first fuel rail to the second and then the outlet of the second rail goes -10 to the aeromotive 1000 regulator. Bottom of the regulator is -6an to the factory return line to the tank.

All worked great until recently. I had 50psi on the mechanical gauge mounted in the regulator.

I put a 14" -4 line off the regulator port to remote the gauge, and added a tee fitting to put in a digital pressure sensor for the PLX gauges. All worked great.

Then one day with no other changes the gauge jumped to 85psi. I replaced the gauge thinking it was faulty but have the same thing.

The regulator adjusts but only fr 85 upwards (it's supposed to be 75 max) The PLX sensor is reading 40psi.

Any thoughts? Busted regulator? Return line too small?

Implant on taking off the -4 line and putting the tee and gauge right on the regulator to test that.

My guess is the regulator crapped out.

Nice work Haydn! Glad to hear you were able to get the belt sorted. Seems like it's just minor details now.

Yeah. It's pretty lame. Forum originally for companies just gets outdone by Facebook.

It's pretty convenient to record and post a vid to your company or personal FB from your phone without any extra time invested away from what you are doing.

I predict a larger shift from forums to "new media" in the next few years, just like we went from LISTSRVs to the forums. The traffic that I see on Audi FB groups proves the point; hopefully more people go to G+ since content is easier to search like a forum.

Yeah I agree and understand. Might have to get Facebook again to keep up with these projects. Damn it.

Tapatalk does make it pretty easy too, for photos at least
