I will check it out here this week. If it does turn out that one is broken, I will be a bit annoyed. I have a poly front snubber with a mount that locks it in place so it can't move around. With all of that locking down the engine, you'd think that would leave no excuse for those to break.

I'm with Jim - work great and hold up to abuse. Just MAKE SURE to protect them from the heat of the turbo... they tend to melt a little
This was w/ a GT2871 turbo and stock manifold on a 20vt. Ended up making a MUCH better heat shield and the new mount seems to be holding up a lot better.

but, the fact that they dont separate even after looking like THAT is sweet. I run them as well. On my to-do list is to contact them and make the small mod to them which would make it a drop-in for us. Or just run a bunch through the mill here.
Beware: all his videos are fake and photoshopped. He claims his car beats monster STIs but we all know they are really just honda civics with body kits. I keep trying to get him to race for pinks against my 500hp 20vt but he wont do it. Lol

You sir are a moron. HAHA
SIDE NOTE: I have figured out my boost oscillation problem. Looks like this turbo gets compression surge like crazy. :( The other day I was in 5th at around 3k, gave it WOT and the turbo freaked the crap out. SOOOO it looks like the under 20 pounds this turbo is amazing. But above that, at lower RPMs it's problematic.

Just another reason to slap on that 5857. In the mean time, you might know this Chris, do they make anti-surge housings that will work on the H1C? Just for curiosity sake.

I remember someone else not properly protecting one of those mounts and they had the same exact thing happen. A true testimony to their durability. Now get it fixed and swing by on your way to BBQ...I have a head for you to deliver to John

The one I had (and McStiff now has) is anti-surge. My roommate has one that isn't. He cut out the anti-surge ring in his as the casting had everything there except the little cut-out ring by the comp blades. It is a pain in the butt, and I doubt it would help in a case like your turbo. I think that thing is just so severely mismatched in size that there isn't much you can do to help it. You could always try, but it'd be more worth your time to just get the precision on I think!

I think your right man. Still kind of a bummer for it to turn out this way. Either way, it still is a TON of fun for now.

HAHA No joke Hank, I was able to get a buddy to help me tow it home. I drove my pathfinder while he rode in Oceanic.
Anyways, it looks like I blew the spider gears right out of the center diff, which explains why I was able to lock it and run 4WD status until that stopped working too. I just got home (3am) so I will snap up some pictures tomorrow and post up. Needless to say, there isn't much center diff housing left. This also means I have to alter 5857 plans, I guess 01E is coming first.
