Ok, went to the drags.. I feel like I got robbed of an eleven second run.. but thats mostly because I was off by 5 hundreths of a second.. booo.. My 60 ft time sucks, and I need to do some changes.. but the base is there..

This is in Las Vegas at the first event of the year.. the track was super slick.. I need more tire.. I only got 3 runs in, and the first 3 were crap, where I was plagued with an overboosting problem, and then a lack of fuel problem....( aparently launches with only and eighth of a tank result in fuel starvation.. I know, I am cringing right now..) All three of those runs were with 4 wheel burnouts.. So things were looking up, and then 10 spots before my turn( 45 minutes of waiting) a bike goes down, and the track is closed for 2 hours.. I had hundreds of cars behind me, and I wanted my last run.. So I kindof did an easy launch to make sure that I didnt blow it.. so, there is the story on the sucky 60 foot time.. So then that ended up being my last run of the day... and I came home pissed in my 12 second car... :

All at 22psi on the 30r.. with a readline at 8200..

Oh and I met some Audi nerds there.. inlcuding one Levi that was sporting an 034Motorsports sweatshirt!! Cool!!!

Great time Hank! I saw your Dad this week. He told me of some disturbing news about you! He mentions "sell" and your "ur" in the same sentence. Time to find a new woman!!!! :-D

I'd like to see your .set file. You want to send it to me?

Yep, It is pretty rough with the coupe right now.. I need to free up some money.. but I dont think the coupe is for sell quite yet.. Lately I have been hanging out with a bunch of Subaru guys, and one of them that used to live next to Bruno and has seen and driven in some of his AudiSport cars. Well, I had mentioned that I liked the STI and that I wouldnt mind trading. I said that mostly as a joke, but we were at the track last night, and he handed me his keys and said that he brought the title.. Tempting.. that would be like getting 22k for my URQ..

Oh, but lately I am in love with the car again.. She is sure fun to cruise around. Getting Random 40 year olds drive up next to you on the freeway, yelling out the window that they love the car, and that they always wanted one dosnt seem to get old.(that guy was driving a brand new BMW x5).. My Dad thinks its cool.. My girlfriend gets embarrassed, and dosnt get it. LOL

Elevens here I come..

Awesome Hank! Keep the car man, even though I don't get to play with mine that much anymore, there's just no substitute!

STI is fun I did have one of those brand new in a 2005 chipped exhaust ( coob stage 3) when insurance bill came in i flipped out and sold the car. StI will out handle almost anything on a road. 12Sec ¼ mile dreaming, I have 440WHP and 470WTQ CQ puts huge smile in my face every time I drive that thing. And makes me say STI what?????

Yeah, Thanks guys.. I will keep the car... But i probably... no I will never stop hearing about it... LOL...

with some bigger injectors, 30lbs, c16 and some better launching and driving, I may be getting into the low elevens.. Hot dog this car is fast though..

I would be super curious to know how much power the car is putting down... arent there ways to figure out rough estimates on power based on quarter mile times? I think the car is under 3k pounds.. but I will get it on the scales monday to burn my curiousity!

Having too much power sucks

What sucks is having to work on Friday night, not being at the track with you, and not having the time to finish my own car. :frustrated: I did get to drive the car to the store today and Hank tells me that if I locked the diffs, I wouldn't break all four tires loose getting on it in second, or at least not as easy!! Having to much power sure is fun. :-D

Seriously the car is hot... This girl of yours just doesn't understand beauty ( I have the same problem with my wife, she doesn't understand but accepts it). Anyone can buy an STI, You can't just pick up a URQ especially an 81 stateside. Sell that A4 thing if your short on cash and pick up a cheap DD honda or something...
