Hanks URQ 2.6L Autopsy
Yeah, Darin, that is what I like to hear!! You will like it even more in person, and even more when it covers the whole car!!!!
Derek, hmm.. I think it is the header that the ebay headers were designed after, for this one was purchased out of Europe a couple of years ago before the current ebay special ever was. That said, it took extensive work to work.. The overall disign and placement is awesome, however, the flanges arnt... they suck actually, for they are warped like crazy, and arnt threaded on the inlet... So I cut them all off, welded my own flanges, and inside welded all of the original tube welds.. then all flanges were milled flat on my mill.. It is nice, pure stainless, and will support the turbos of my future(gt35r..)... the turbo inlet is so flat it will be ran without gaskets...
Highlander, Yeah, thanks.. Your IM is actually what inspired me!! So thanks for the kind words.. I cant wait to see your URQ!!!

OK, I need help.. I have wasted a full day freaking around with the darn VR sensor, and I am about to kill somebody/something...
I can not get a steady 59 to save my freaking life.. At first I was getting really spastic numbers, that were not very consistent. One moment it would be 166 then drop to 66, then down to 45 to rise to 130 again.. I figured I had some sort of interference.. So I moved wires a little, and nothing.. Changed VR sensor, and nothing.. Used another flying lead my dad has for his URQ, and i got a somewhat consistent 68 signal. I figured I would then just run a new shielded wire, and see how that treated me.. So I did, all the crimps got soldered, and heat shrinked.. I thought for sure it would give it to me... Nothing, and now, I cant get a signal over 7 or so... I crank and it spits out 3s 4s or around there, meanwhile, the RPMs are around 8k on the computer, however I just get a random attempt at fire in one cylinder.. ARG
I dont get it.. and I am tired.. I am going to get me some icecream right now, and I know you guys are going to tell me what is crackin!! Important to note, that the air gap was messed with in every senario above.. Anywhere from .02 all the way up to .1 and nothing.. Oh and my shield is just conected to the third spot on the Audi VR sensor..
If you are pin swavy, I have the Number 7 pin on the IIC computer, connect to the middle slot on the plug, and the 14th to the first slot... obviously the shield is grounded to the shield or the third slot as mentioned above.......
HELP!!!! LOL
Hank
Jimmy, yeah, the alt location is sweet.. Wanna trade cars??

Hey here are some pictures of that PS pump.....

Want more???.. IT is important to note that I started off with a 20v bracket, and it was pushed back using lots of spacers.. The Tention piece doubles up as one of those spacers..
OK, and now to work on my problem.... Here isa picture of my new bracket I made tonight for my VR sensor.. It sits down low, by the pan.. quite rigid, and away from things that may have been causing noise..
