So... might have a trade opportunity for some RS's (trade for the gallardo wheels + cash maybe). Thoughts? I don't know the details yet.

The Lamborghini rims and rs rims should be an even trade, if any thing u should get some cash for the Lamborghini rims with the rs rims

This I would only apply that the rs rims are not repo's and are used

as much as I like the lambo's, the RS's have a much easier and higher chance of fitment.

The lambo rims WILL fit if I choose them ;)

I believe the RS's in question would indeed require cash on top because I think they are in need of a rebuild. I was just asking for everyone's opinion based on the car and the wheels together. I like both options (one is crazy/wild, the other is period correct and classy).

1 Vote period correct/classy 8)

*edit* If you can get your car to sit like Camber's, those 17" RS's would make your car ooze class... just sayin.

Oh, and there would be an HX52 powering those RS's, so that's cool too.

lol, I thought that would be the answer.

They are 17's. 17x7 and 17x8, but I'd rebuild (with new lips) to my liking.

Hmm, the RSs look nice and would be period correct, but I agree with Nick that you should sell the Lambo rims to fund clutch and such.

Besides, if RS looks good, I think 18" LMs would look even better...

You guys are right about the LM's... I love those too! Trust me, if I could sell the lambo wheels straight up I'd be spending it on go-fast stuff for sure. This build might have to explore some unexplored territory though. I would like to have a trans that actually holds up to the power I want.

Good luck in the trans search man. If I can't keep an 01E together on my stage 3, double the power will be tough. Granted, its not breaking catastrophically it's just mashing up collars and synchros (even the carbon coated ones). And revving to the realm of what you're looking for I'm seeing even more issues. It's really frustrating because I know the 016 is weak but the thing shifts PERFECT every time. Dogbox from advanced automotion is what will eventually find it's way into my 200 in an 01E. Someday...way after a house and other more important things.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get the brunt of this finished up before a house becomes a priority. I'm thinking the tranny is going to have to be non-audi or a serious straight cut 01e at the least.
