sooo the consensus is to sell them and go dry sump with the proceeds? :P

I really do want to rock them for a while. I still think they suit it well, but so do the B6 wheels, the BBS's, and the other speedlines (the lambo wheels are speedlines too). Its so confusing! All I know is I need to get rid of something and the BBS's are not the ones going since my dad is in love with them for his E36.

I too am not a fan of those Lambo wheels on the 200. Tehya re nice overall but somehow don't fit the car IMO. The B6 S4 I never liked overall. They look ok on your car though.

If you must have them though, why not flare the rear Q-panels some? This guy did it on the 20v and looked somewhat ok. I'm sure you could pull something event better.

Or, why not space them out less, and clearance the inside instead.

A hammer has definitely come to mind... but I don't want to bash this poor car in much. It would have to be at least a half inch of material removed/bashed in.

Secretagentman, I agree which is what I've always done ever since my lime green wheels lol I rocked them hard until I got fed up with the extra attention from the 5-0.

Great runs Chris. They are VERY evenly matched which is awesome! The cars sounded so identical other then the wastegate dump you have, it was a cool experience. I'll be running mine at the track in the next couple of weeks so you can get an idea of what you'd run with a good clutch ;). Pray for my 016!

Sounds good man, I'm excited to see how it goes! 016 should be just fine. I have to give credit to the 30r like we talked about in person. That little extra bit of spool does a lot of good. Borg EFR is going to be a very interesting if they really spool much faster than a garrett counterpart. Can't wait to see what Marc comes up with in terms of those.

The 30r is def a great turbo and is capable of some pretty good power. Local honda guys have ran 550whp+ on standard 30r's. I'll see where this takes me but I really think the stock EM and .63 housing are killing the top end. We'll see how she does next season with a proper manifold, bigger housing and a built bottom end (to handle the extra fun).

Also, the local AWD dyno is up and running so I'll be hitting that soon too. I'd really like to get a damn intercooler in the thing but Garrett must have their heads in their asses on the core I ordered months ago.

Sounds good, looking forward to results for sure. I'll have some interesting results as well as soon as I can get the bottom end built in this car. I'm definitely pretty determined to go 35psi on meth or race gas.

OK help me plan this rebuild. Right now, I have just a few things ordered. Big order going in soon with Mr. Swanson and EFIexpress.com

First of all, I have all timing belt parts already. I also just ordered some main bearings (regular ones) and have some rod bearings and a new cam gear. Also some nice I-beam rods with ARP 625's and gun drilled oiling (625's are for future insurance for the high strung motor and the gun drilling is standard and these are supposed to be good for 250whp per hole :D). Either Hank or EFIexpress can supply you with these rods. Hank manifold is coming and my 01e is still not here yet. It is supposed to go out by the end of next week. That is the main thing keeping me from diving into this aside from a paycheck and some spare time.

From EFIexpress, I'll be receiving the following:

- AAN lower end gasket kit
-piston rings
-MLS hg
-new timing chain
-7a-style light alum flywheel
-southbend stg. 4 extreme clutch (high clamp pressure plate)

and will be testing some rs2 tranny mounts (to see if they will work in a 200 with 01e)

so... any suggestions? I wont sweat the stuff like new IM gasket and such.

The oil pickup tube and oil filter housing gaskets are not easily available, Marc or 034 should carry them in stock, make sure to order them when you grab other stuff.

Also, not sure if you'll be removing your throttle body or not, but 3B/AAN throttle body gaskets are also not a standard Worldpac/common item, so get one of those. The new updated 068 rear main seals are nice too, but not a huge deal to have--just lots simpler than replacing the seal in the factory housing and using a gasket.

ah, definitely another good idea on the rear main seal. I'll need a throwout bearing and some modified axles made to fit the tranny as well. The TB is going to be a lexus V8 unit which is 75mm inside diameter to match my IC piping. It will have Hargett clamp connections :)

I also need to get a honing kit and a ring compressor I spose. A nice torque wrench is going to be needed as well.

When I was planning on building a motor this summer, I put a brand new oil pump on the list. Many will argue it's not necessary since they rarely fail - but it happens. Cost is about $430 new from GVAP, for me that was cheap insurance for a high revving beast. Just something to consider.

Also, make sure you included a new crank pulley in your timing belt parts.
