I'm not really aware of them actually (at least not in the US). I only knew of Dahlbak and one other coming soon.

Hahaha, been there. The list looks good to me. Very similar to what i am doing to mine. Except i did not o-ring. I think for the 500-600whp range i dont need to worry about that as much. I would recommend a hone if you are going to put in new rings. It will make them brake in a lot better. And I would also do main bearings while your in there. They arent that much and its always good to replace things like that while your in there. An old sprint car engine builder once told me that rebuilding an engine and using the old rings and bearings is like taking a shower and putting your dirty clothes back on when you get out. It works, but i think you get the point.

I am interested in your dry sump system. Will let me know the info on it when you can? :P

I'll text ya.

I agree about the rings and such (especially a hone with new rings). I was only considering leaving the rings because one, they don't leak or anything and 2, I will probably have the engine out again next year for the baller stuff. Might as well just get it done now I suppose.

I feel that my posts have had a lack of pictures lately. I'm going to try and make up for that a little with this one. These are just random on the spot kind of things... I really need to set up a shoot sometime to get some really good pictures. Its been a while. Don't mind the dirty bay. I REALLY need that wg re-route made.

First is the skyline, e30 and 200 together. All relatively well-matched cars actually.

This one is a little get-together at school

and this is from the night before I left to come home from school. I ALMOST* got everything I own packed up in there lol

and in other news I've started my summer job. I'm just working at one of the local marinas, but they pay is alright and I get tips. I had to buy some sunglasses though, so funds for the 200 still aren't rising lol. I'll probably spend the month's earnings on Carlisle, but after Carlisle this car is coming apart!

I know, they have grown on me a LOT too. All they need is spacers and they'd be very good. I think the only thing better on this car would be the gallardo wheels that are very similar to these.

Image

I think I would stop being a wheel whore for those. If a b5 can fit them, then the 200 should have no problem. One can dream! I could have had those like 3 times over now with the money I've put into VEMS, the tranny, building the motor, suspension, brakes, etc... but that wouldn't be very much fun :D

Those are definitely sick, but for some reason i like six spokes better than five for the most part. Honestly, i would rather put money into drivetrain before wheels. All show and no go isn't much fun. Besides, the ones that are on it look great

:D

plus is an understatement

I'm kind of wondering what else needs to be done to get there (besides a serious head). For example, really, really good main and rod bolts, different pulleys for alt and ps (or electric ps/ac) etc.
