So I watched the vid on 'Stance' and the Haterade just comes boiling up.

What a bunch of friggin polishers! Of course they would be PARKED on a race track...

I feel better now, thankyou. Back to my normal routine of 80mph drifts in snow/dirt. Oh, caught a little air the other day rippin an 'unimproved' road while blasting a snowdrift at 60mph. Glad the UrS4 has B5S4 springs...

What The F... is going on with you and plug wires? This is absolutely ridiculous, 6months and STILL FIGHTING plug wire misfires? Makes me sooo glad to keep the stock systems that have proven uber reliable on my 240k+ cars that regularly boost spike 26psi and NEVER misfire.

Keep up the goodwork and figure out this baloney, so when i go VEMS its had the cockroaches removed from the process.

lol yeah everyone has their own opinions about the whole stance thing. I like my car to look good and REALLY appreciate nice wheels. I don't like them to be impractical though. The thing is, a nice set of wheels not only looks good, but it should be a performance improvement because of the lightness offered by a good multi-piece wheel.

Anyway, I dunno what it is with those plug wires. I would certainly not recommend the brand of wires that were on the car. It was the same set of wires three separate times that failed (within a few months or a month each time). The relatively expensive wires that 034 sells are this same manufacturer just as a little PSA. They have been proven to fail on other people's cars too so its not just me. I believe that its the parts that stick down into the cylinder that is the problem. Even the stock units will fail there at some point. For now the stock ones are MUCH better than the ones that I was using before. I had no idea stock wires would work with LS2 coils. Glad I know now. Next set of wires if/when these fail eventually will be MSD's.

You guys are all assuming I will put them on the 200. At first I viewed them as an investment opportunity. The more time I spend with them though, the more I fall in love with them. I don't think I'll be able to part with them haha

BTW, I've been thinking...are these the same wheels that Casey has? I know they look similar. That would be super lame if we had the same thing lol

I'm just jealous that you guys can polish aluminum and it stays pretty year-round. I really hate salt. But I love snow.

I can't remember what company makes these wires but they have a separate grounding strap that bolts to the camcover. They are the badass of plug wires. Highly recommended.

No worries chris, they aren't exactly the same... just more exactly the wheel I wish mine were! Do it. I wish Mine were 17x10 all 'round.... ugh...

Those are Nology Hotwires..The ground strap is for the built-in capacitor, which is supposed to aid in spark energy..The jury is out on them, though--I had a set on an RS2+ 3B and they worked, but I never dyno'd the car after putting them on..I also never had any issues with misfires when they were installed, either..
I would think the caps may become a restriction if you are running aftermarket HOC's..

awesome wheels. I keep looking for a good set of cheap 17x9 3 piece wheels with good barrels. I want to make my own centers bad. It would be super easy to do, and you could give yourself the perfect offset wit the perfect wheel pattern.

more timing in some areas less in others. do you have missfires still? can you line the car up against that caddy from a 40mph roll to see how it does, and calibrate the butt dyno? you would know within a few gears. : )

no misfires at all thanks to the stock plug wires. I would try and line up with it but I'm back at school now. BTW I just rode in that E30 M20 with an H1C and it felt great for only 40% throttle and like 6psi. Hopefully next time it'll be 100% throttle lol. He thought it was full throttle but wasn't

:) thanks guys

I do think it sounds pretty good. Gotta have it on some good speakers though. My laptop makes it sound terribad!

Hey the bright side about losing the 90 (we'll find out about that today I believe) is that I'll be able to focus on this car much more. Instead of getting the ABZ in the 90, maybe I can get built bottom end in this car...along with fitting the Hank mani and such.

check the thread. It got towed and they want $53x.xx to get it back. My other option is to pay half of that and hand over the title and keys.

Well I guess I've decided that the BBS's don't look quite good enough for the car to pull them off. The speedlines might look good, but they also might be a great investment opportunity. I could widen the current wheels... :D
