Thanks!

I want to do the tops of the doors just so it matches the line where the dash meets them with the doors closed, but I just can't figure out a good way to make the separation from suede to that vinyl stuff they use for the doors.

On another note, my cluster sucks. Its just weird because it only flips out when I'm in boost. If I drove like a granny all day it would probably stay just fine, but the second I get on it it starts flipping out lol...then it stays that way until I cycle the ignition.

Its just slightly annoying. Makes me want to put a custom stack cluster in or something

like this

Image

and integrate them into my current cluster holder thing.

oh and i want to get some nice floor mats that say quattro with 4 rings. Just in black. It would be subtle but classy.

Its been raining for the past 4 or so days, and I've just been having great fun in this car. I feel like I need to stomp on it in first gear around every turn I am at a stop light for lol. Its just so fun so get it sideways.

I also saw my very first ever Sierra Cosworth today on the highway. It was just sick. Black with some fat wheels on the back with some good camber going on. It was smoking a good bit though. I didn't really care, its still awesome, and it had a nice front mount. Ill try and get pics up as soon as I can get them off of my phone.

For sure.

The side window is a dead give away.

Definately not a Cossie.

Still looks cool though.

Cheers,

Craig.

It would be sweet if it had a cosworth engine in it too. Probably just the svo engine.

It definitely made me remember to put a sierra cosworth on my list of cars to import and drive here tho!

Just get the XR4Ti and swap some stuff, like engine/gearbox, rear wing/hatch, brakes, etc. Then you can actually legally drive it.

yeah, there are ways to get around some of that stuff here in florida. I know MULTIPLE people that have skylines here and drive them daily.

BUT yes, that would probably be a better idea.

Yep, I'm not sure how or why, but people use florida to import all kinds of cars.

Here are a few of the skylines I've seen...and a lot of these are just local ones

sorry cant post the pics(mg doesn't like the pic links from photoshop.com for some reason)...but here are links to them

I know of someone with a rally spec Escort Cosworth and another person with a street spec Integrale.

And I *swear* I saw a Sport Quattro tooling around NASA Lewis (now Glenn) Research Center around '97ish.

My buddy has one of six real Cosworths here in the US. It's not titled that way though. It runs about even with my 200.

Chris, factory mats say quattro with rings. You could probably still get them

Hmm mine only say quattro...but no rings. That would be cool. My mats are in OK condition, but the driver's one is worn from heel-toeing :D

Maybe one from another model of car (newer) would fit?

I had an overall really good day. I got a B+ on my first differential equations book, then I saw the "cossie" :P, then got a job ON THE SPOT at Hollister (where all I have to do is stand at the front, look good, and say "Hey, whats up?" haha), then some really smokin' girl left her number on my windshield!

So since I have a job (looking for a second one), first thing's first...time to find my refrigerant leak and get some damn AC!

Then the focus is going to be all Holset. I should really be able to get it underway now. Especially if I find a second job.

oh and I forgot to mention a girl was driving that merkur
