Looks great, lots of needed space up front, is there going to be front snub mount?

Looks great! And light too!
Re: I took the BLUE Pill. It's in (most people feel that)
Yeah, check out the room compared to the vr6 swap.. Unlike the 07k, the vr6 has it's accessories driven off the front of the pulley, not set back on a jackshaft.

Re: I took the BLUE Pill. It's in (most people feel that)
Better picture of Dan's setup. This means that one could realistically have that 5 cylinder b5 s4 Avant you have always dreamed of.
If the VR6 fits, this motor would fit!

Maybe I missed it posted earlier, but is that a 4" down pipe?
Looks like it?
If so are you running 4" all the way back?
Cheers,
Craig

Or maybe an AWIC

Re: I took the BLUE Pill. It's in (most people feel that)
I still think an AWIC setup with the heat exchanger in the rear tall wing would be wicked.

Where does IC go? Hope that dual pass single core is enough...
and lol @ 98lbs Hank.

Standard front mount location, my understanding is that the rad is behind the crossmember.
@ AWIC heat exchanger in the back; I guess it would help balance
People would definitely be :-?Re: I took the BLUE Pill. It's in (most people feel that)
Yeah, me too, but really it has more surface area than the OEM side mount and the airflow through the core is a lot more direct.
He is planning on running a 7" tall by 5" thick core down low for an IC. We may still play around with the idea of Air to Water cooling the thing. It would be a great way of putting more ballast in without adding weight to the car.

'lectric ;o]
So Jimmy, you already know I'm going to be picking your brain over that one.
Im going electric purely by choice, there is plenty room down low where the AC compressor normally resides. This is just going to be another 20+ pounds moving to the rear of the car.

The VR6 unit I use in my URQ is 4 lbs wet. With lines, maybe 7lbs total? Not saying I don't like the idea, but 20lbs is a tad bit optimistic!

Electric in the trunk could be interesting, but the pump is probably not heavy enough to worry about. Consider what else you might put back there, like an accusump for example or meth injection. Then you could group together all of lines somehow under the car nice and tidy and plan out some nice reservoirs or something. I have had 0 issues with the MR2 pump, I recently installed a cooler but ran without one for many years. There is a speed controller for them, but I just have mine switched by the ign on a large solenoid. I also have a simple toggle switch so i can turn it off while the car is sitting with the ign on.
Re: I took the BLUE Pill. It's in (most people feel that)
I think this is a perfect opportunity to sort out an electric servo between the column and rack

Re: I took the BLUE Pill. It's in (most people feel that)
Oh Hank, Im removing the complete stock hydraulic system including pump, bomb, reservoir and lines. That's saving me the 20+ pounds, if Im adding less to the rear I think thats fair...
Don't be sour because my car is going to weigh in well below the red beast ;o]

Great Project! Thanks for the updates.
What is the flange on Drivers side with the AN Lines going to it. Looks like its also serving as a motor mount???
