Yes, Laguna Seca is the modivating factor behind this fire drill. Just do it! Or spring mountain, either way you can't lose . I need to have this thing all sorted by the 15th which is like tomorrow with my schedule.. Looks like the carbotechs are out for a pad choice, waiting for them to make the pads is not going to happen when I am at the tiki bar in Costa Mesa and looking at Porterfield out the window.. So I walked over and grabbed some hawk Ht-10 pads for the track and R4s pads for the street.

Everything works with the Apikol "10A04132" bracket that is for the ur-s cars and 996tt. There is some very slight pad overhang on the outside of the rotor so I just hit them with an angle grinder, it's less than 1mm. I also used a .7mm shim to perfectly center the caliper on the rotor. I was hoping to try and run the 345mm rotors, but I only have about 5mm clearance between the caliper and inside of the wheel.

Yep. These are vented on the outside which I am not thrilled about, has anyone found this rotor with vent intake on the inside of the rotor?

Hanks, I need an extra 4mm spacer on the RPF1's, but it's more like a 5mm spacer because the hat on these A8 rotors is much thicker than my old setup.

Ahh, S2 hubs. There are rotors that are vented form inside the hub but they are 321x30. B5S4 should be equivalent to the hat offset you have.

Sizes are as follows:
996tt rotors are 330x34 & 330x28
996 rotors are 318x28 & 299x24
993tt rotors are 322x32 & 322x28
993 rotors are 304x32 & 299x24
930 rotors are 304x32 & 309x28

Pins are not an issue, but fitting new pads might be, as well as upper edges where most outter diameter of the rotor spins... I'll have to measure up.

Good choice. Great price, and a good gun. It's the one I use.

What tip (1.2 or 1.4) are you all using on this gun? Any suggestions on gun set up? I just bought one to spray my engine compartment before installing the 3b swap.

1.2 for color and 1.4 for clear. It is made for water based paints hence the slightly smaller tips, but still works for normal paint. I am still figuring it out to be honest.. Put some water or something else to practice spraying with and go through the adjustments to get a grasp on what everything does. One of my issues is the amount of light in my garage, it was hard to tell what speed I needed to go to achieve a wet coat on the clear, so it ended up going on thicker than it should, which lead to quite a bit of wetsanding and it still isn't that smooth. It's a good gun, but make sure you have lots of light before you spray..
