Stock block and stock crank can reach those numbers. Same goes to tdi crank and block.

For 600hp about any china rod will do. Eagle, whatever they are named. FCP makes rifle drilled x-beam aswell. Machinist should check them tho. Quality isnt always constant.

for 1000whp compared to 600hp
-1000-5800rpm nothing happens
-dry sump ~2500 $$$
-mechanical lifters
-multiplate clutch ...

You would just go and put used fuel pump in your car? If 044 is too expensive there are walbro, DeatschWerks, AEM etc, which go with minor mods to the tank.

1. If you can find just used tdi 6th gearset for 100-300usd go for it... New gearset is around 600-700 usd i think. And its kinda plug and play. Used DQT-box (~best diesel one) is from 600-1100usd from sweden + shipping.
2. I dont think it needs a write up. Opening the whole box is completely ...

My experience is from Defa-series

Have 200 20v avant and have block heater p/n 411393
You can buy a loom with a splitter to cabin where you can mount any interior heater you want.
I used defa termini 2100W. Melts snow from the roof -5F.

Most common setup in Finland.

Both are equally crap. V8 headlights look horrible in 200 without bonnet, fenders, bumper.

-Relay the lights and polish the glass.. Cheapest and probably best choice... stock appearance and decent for the era

Girdles with or without bolts and "washers" can be bought from http://webshop.cp-service.se/en/67-audi. Lots of good stuff for 5cyl 20vt 8-) Also billet main bearing caps etc.

Very interested ordering multiple sets to front and rear for finnish people, just bought powerflex bushings for track control arm, inner & outer, they were like 300usd shipped, could measure those so we could have near complete set. I would like to have aluminium for subframe, I dont get it why ...
