Re: Ben's Coupe GT
Was this the one that popped up a couple of times on facebook? Very nice car, pin striping is different but in a good way.
I miss my type 85's always good fun to drive and so much more nimble/lighter than the later coupe's.

I've sent cory some emails etc as he's been trying to contact him for months now.
How did you pay? paypal/card as you might be able to put a claim in to get a response from him.

Re: Ben's 924S
Yeah, thats where my 944 came from. I had some bits turn up recently and deciding what to get next for the car. I ended up getting a rolling shell from him and slowly getting the bits that I need to put it back together.

Nice to see a 924s being saved and red I've found 90% of the time cleans up really good no matter what brand car its on. Its just keeping it red i've found is a pita.
The porsche jaquard is a really nice trim. Very audi-esque.
I thought about getting an early dash 944 when I was looking but ended ...

What car?
On my s2 I ran mine underneath the ellipsoids for the main headlights, the fog HID ballasts I think ended up being cable tied on the uprights for the hood.

Hi Mike
I think I responded to this on facebook the other day.
This is the thread for the guy who used a cabriolet rear window demister on the front screen in his track car, well worth a read.

Re: Audibits2 shut down?
I'm near Buffalo NY for the time being and he would be shipping from scarborough to here.
I need to get quite a bit of stuff shipped at some point, its all at my parents still in the UK but most likely just load a car up and send it all over in that.

Re: Audibits2 shut down?
I've dealt with him a couple of times in the past when I lived in the UK and for the most part had good experiences. Problem is these cars are getting harder to find now and more expensive. Gone are the days of 500gbp-1000gbp s2's and old coupe's for a couple of hundred.

Re: '90 CQ - 4.0t Swap - WTB: Forged Control Arms
I think when I swap the engine in the new cq I am just going to do away with the stock psp and put an electric one in instead. It means getting one shipped from the UK but the actual unit is cheap and I've seen people fit them under the back end of s2's to help distribute weight better.

What happened to the wheels on the coupe in the first picture? It looked like you swapped them out for standard speedline wheels?

Re: '90 CQ - 4.0t Swap - WTB: Forged Control Arms
Had to grind out pretty much all of the lower grille to get current bumper to work. Rs2 bumpers on the way, looks like plenty more space.
No AC due to space issues with 2 downpipes. Maybe someday but not now.
The Rs2 bumper does give slightly more space, still slightly less than an s2 one ...

Re: '90 CQ - 4.0t Swap - WTB: Forged Control Arms
Regular bumper is better. I'm unsure about American bumpers but Uk s2 bumpers can be trimmed to get decent space. I had a s2 cabriolet for a while and there was enough space for a front mount intercooler, radiator and aircon radiator behind the bumper.

Re: '90 CQ - 4.0t Swap - Custom axles
Look forward to seeing this driving around Buffalo.
If you need any help etc with info on removing trims and stuff i've had quite a few s2's/coupe's over the years.
What else you got planned once its running?

Check the plug on the gearbox, it might need a wiggle or a clean.
