FS: Type44 parts (ECU, Eibach springs, CIS WUR, etc.)

In light of my 200 Avant 20vt being rear-ended, I am cleaning out some spare C3 parts. Here is a list thus far, but I do have more "bits and bobs" lying around as well.

New-in-box power steering feed hose for an Audi 5000 C3, bought it for my old 5000 fwd wagon and never installed it. Includes ...

Re: Hersh Performance and Racing Products - Epic Motor Mount

I was very happy with my 70durometer motor mounts in the C3 Avant 20vt until I was rear-ended :hammer:. But I did get to enjoy the mounts for about 4 weeks.

WTB: 5000/200 headlight rubber trim

Does anyone have a source for the C3 5000/200 headlight upper rubber trim? Mine are both disintegrating :(

Where are you located, Mr. McBoost? I would be interested, but fear you are too far for it to be practical.

Re: Coming soon....

Happy to welcome you to the C3/Type44 group, Mike! You're not buying Casey's wagon, are ya?

Geeked! Within a month I'll be the owner of a nice 200 20v wagon. I've found that the B5 A4 I picked up really was not for me, so I'm ditching it in favor of something I've wanted to own for quite some ...

Re: What to drive daily?

Drive something newer and reliable, then you can focus your attention on the project car. I got lucky early this month and found onto this dealer-maintained 2010 A4 Avant in white, and had to snatch it up:

Re: passenger motor mount change on 20vt C3

My heat shields are still in pretty good condition. As a result, they were blocking any sort of access to the mount from all sides. Fortunately, I was able to remove the airbox and gain access to the shields. Once they were removed, I was able to get to the mount.

As is usual, my old mount was ...

Hmm, I haven't found an access for such things from the top as of yet. Do you remember where from the top you entered?

passenger motor mount change on 20vt C3

Hi all!

I just installed a new Hersch Performance motor mount on the driver's side of my 1990 200 TQA, and it was easy peasy. Now the challenge is to get one installed on the passenger side. Holy tight places Audiman!

So before I tear into it, does anyone have tips for installing a passenger ...

Re: WTB 1991 200Q 20vt leather shift boot/bracket

AGLA makes a replacement boot. If you want the double-stitch like a factory boot, you need to specify "decorative stitching". Here is an AGLA boot w/out double stitch on my 200TQA:

Re: Josh's 2.5 200QT.

We know Yodasfro's opinion goes a long way in the Type44 world. Good to know.

How is the companies reputation?

I bought the center u-joint from Powertrain Industries a while back after Yodasfro suggested them. I liked talking to someone who actually knows his stuff rather than some drone. And I ...

Re: Josh's 2.5 200QT.

I've been considering a driveshaft rebuild myself, as my carrier bearing is toast, and I know my CVs need a regrease at a minimum. I would be concerned that the rebuilt shaft won't last though, as my experience with rebuilt CVs and rebuilt PS racks has been spotty. How is the companies reputation ...
