Anyone know what's going on with Audibits2 at Ebay.co.uk? Mike has been a great resource over the years and I was surprised this week to see his storefront empty.

He posted on one of the facebook groups that he was parting a car and not shipping anything any more. At least not overseas.
shame too because he had a pearl white s2 bumper - which I could use!

Did I get the last thing he is going to ship overseas? I just paid him the other day for a coupe bumper and associated parts. Not through eBay though. I contacted him through eBay, and he gave me his direct email address to continue the conversation.

That really sucks. Losing quality parts suppliers hurts.
Wonder what we can muster for relay shipping from the UK?

Could be... at least you'll know it will be packaged well and come quickly at a reasonable rate. Mike was the best for shipping bumpers. Bought at least three from him.
I've actually bought directly through him as well, nice little way to sidestep the auctions and not pay the buy it now price.

Well, he didn't have any listed when I was looking, so I contacted him and asked. Sometimes it really is just that simple haha. It really is too bad to lose a good seller though.

I think Micheal is sick and tired people trying to scam him. He told me so.
I am dealing with hm now. I recently bought a hood release cable kit from him that is broken, but he was not happy when I asked to return it.
The matter is being resolved. Stand up guy.

That's good to know.
I've got his personal email, I guess if I need something I can just ask.
It was nice to browse the shop from time to time though, see if something nifty came available.

I've dealt with him a couple of times in the past when I lived in the UK and for the most part had good experiences. Problem is these cars are getting harder to find now and more expensive. Gone are the days of 500gbp-1000gbp s2's and old coupe's for a couple of hundred.
I've just bought a couple of s2 bumpers from another guy who can still get old audi stuff - Spink on s2forum (
zamp54@yahoo.co.uk) so there is still people getting bits for these cars.
I'd seen audibits had quite a bit on there but not looked in a while apart from seeing a couple of bumpers he had listed. Still I wish him the best for the future and whatever he decides to do.

Interesting... is Spink shipping to you in the UK? I thought he wasn't enamoured with shipping abroad.

I'm near Buffalo NY for the time being and he would be shipping from scarborough to here.
I need to get quite a bit of stuff shipped at some point, its all at my parents still in the UK but most likely just load a car up and send it all over in that.

Has anyone been in touch with Michael? It's been radio silence for more than 2 weeks with nothing to show for funds I sent him back in June.

Ouch. He's usually very prompt, even with the time zone differences. Hope it's nothing major.

I've sent cory some emails etc as he's been trying to contact him for months now.
How did you pay? paypal/card as you might be able to put a claim in to get a response from him.

It was via PayPal. Like I said over on S2forum, I truly hope he is ok, but if I don't hear something from him very soon I'm going to have to file a claim. I would much rather have the bumper than the cash back though.
