Reports are that the project was killed beause the i5 interfered with some european crash standard on hood clearance.
I want to build basically the same car. The protos had aluminum chassis that are about 220 lighter than a steel framed a5 or s5 we could get here, but I bet you could get a steel car down to 3000lbs in track trim. Extra weight would be compensated with more than 400hp like this "beast" had
