Adjustable cam gear on a 20vt.

So, I'm replacing the timing belt on my MC1 with MC2 cam. Would it be worth it to drop another $100 for an adjustable came gear? I understand the principle of it, but does any one have any BTDT with this setup?

you should turn the k24(or6?) up above 10psi first and see what that does before worrying about cam timing.

I had an adjustable cam gear on my 4ktq but never used it. IMHO, I'd run the stock cam gear.

I'll be hooking up the N75 this time. Will be nice to be over 10psi again. I was just thinking about the whole "while I'm in there" thing. I'll hold off on the cam gear, and put the money elsewhere.

Thanks guys.

Would you be able to use it later? Or sell it down the road for what you paid?

If yes, buy. If no, don't.

Down the road maybe. Selling it for what I would have spent, doubt it. I think I'll just skip it for now. I was just thinking this morning about it.
