VEMS bluetooth or gauge

Recently got set up with standalone thru lugtronic. It's a 99 b5 a4 avant 1.8t, with 5156 comp turbo, USRT p&p aeb head with inconel ex valves.
thanks to the info here and vems support site I played with the fueling and it's bang on at all the target lambda. Just waiting for final remote tuning before going higher than the base tunes 200kpa limit. It's tempting to play with it a bit more but I'll just watch and read and learn for now.
Anyway enough useless info lol. I though I'd ask here what do you think I should get in regard to gauges. It's not a track or strip car, no fancy stance stuff etc....I like the idea of stealthy bluetooth adapter + removeable galaxy note with vems display .......but I don't know if it's more practical and reliable to have the vems round display only gauge, permanently in a steering column pod.
What would be the better option

Haven't got mine finalized yet, but I've opted for a combination of both.

Permanent gauges:
-- boost/vac
-- coolant temp
-- oil temp
-- oil pressure
-- battery

Digital gauges (via Vems+Bluetooth):
-- EGT
-- AFR
etc

Helps keep the clutter down and maintain something of an OEM+ look.

:metoo: I like what he said. Too many gauges and it just makes a cockpit feel too "rice burner" for me. I'll have a permanent boost gauge along side my new surface pro 3 tablet (displaying vems) that will be held on via Proclipusa.com. They make application specific clips for our old Audi's. There are a lot of gauge pod options for the b5 platform as well.
