4000 Quattro Recaro's?

Has anybody put Recaros in their 4K? Was curious as to options.
I have mkii recaros in my 4k.

2 of my friends also have mk2 recaros in their 4k's, and I've secured a mint set to go in mine. IIRC you just hove to make a very minor "adjustment" to the sliders to make them the proper width for the channels.

When I put MK2 recaros in my 84 4k I had to flip them (pass on driver's side and vice versa) due to the design of the center rail up front.
I believe I also had to bend the outer slider slightly.

I have MK2 jetta/GTI gray cloth recaro's in my 84 4000. drops right in.

you dont need any special brackets, the stock MK2 VW recaro bracket fits the tracking in the car perfectly.
