Going to be doing the TB on my UrS4, so want to have the appropriate tool to do the job, VAG 3526.
I've found some 2084 tools across the pond about $20 cheaper than ZDMACK, who won't ship to Canada... but wanted to ask around first. Will eventually have to do the Coupe as well.
Let me know what you have!

I've got one that you are welcome to borrow but I'm pretty far away.

Does the 2084 work on the AAN? Or are you using the 3526?

I'm using the 3256.

Does the crank walk at all when using it?

You can use the 2084 just need to bolt on a snub/alt/a/c bracket as you said. One benefit of the 2084 over the 3256 is it holds the motor at TDC so no need to turn the motor back to TDC after loosening the bolt lessening the chance of sheering the key off the cog from undo stress.
