Rennline Billet Porsche Transmission/Diff Mount Group Buy

Hello Project Pad!

As a fellow Audi aficionado I wanted to offer up a group buy for anyone interested in getting a set of 911 engine mounts to use as differential and transmission mounts. Currently we only have our solid units available which are milled out of sexy, billet 6061. These are a direct bolt in solution for your transmission and rear differential mounts.

If there is enough interest we can look into an 85 durometer alternative, but our current supplier requires cores for the mounting plates. We carry these as a stock item which I can easily order but they are just the bushings and require a mounting plate to go with them. If there is interest in this option I can do some digging for you guys and see if I can find a supplier who can get us whole units at a decent price.

PRICING for Billet Solid Mounts:

Usually: $150/pair
5 pairs: 10% discount
10 pairs: 20% discount

We can split, to ship, so say you need three, that should be fine as long as we reach a total of 20 individual mounts, but ideally we will end with an even number. The more interest the more potential for us to market to you guys in the future so show us your interest and I/we will do our best to work with the classic Audi market!

Nice piece, I'm sure members here will keep it in mind when they are looking for a hard mount! There are already competitors out there at reasonable prices, but not many are one-piece and solid like this.

Well thank you! :D

We are looking to do a little market expansion, so I saw this as a good opportunity to feel the waters and see if there was a market with the older Audi stuff. I would love to push for some spherical rear tie rods, C4/T44 Monoball mounts or camber plates or something like that. We have a full, in house machine shop, two water jets, CNC mills and lathes, big metal brakes etc. so if you guys have ideas please let me know!

Do it. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but, I think 2bennet is the only place that makes them.

C4 suspension parts would be great, advertising on the S2fourm will open the market up a bit, not that many of these cars in the states, helps to include the folks across the pond too.

Good to see some interest and thank you for the suggestions! I will try crossposting this on S2 forum.

This is probably going to stay off the website, but I can offer a group buy on these and am working on modifying a 911 link for use as a rear T44 tie rod. I know we aren't going to be getting a huge market share in this market, but I'm a fan if I can re engineer and re market a couple parts easily and offer them as call-in specials I would like to help out. We do a lot of spherical links and such so the possibility of making some nice available for you guys is there.

Interest in these mounts would definitely help!

The rear tie rod idea I absolutely love. Everybody knows our only choice for rear tierods on these is Shit Meyle stuff so anything aftermarket or even performance aftermarket I'd buy real fast.

And of course the strut top mount idea, also awesome.

To add to the mounts thing,
I've been running 034 motorsport spec trans mounts for about 2 years, and those are very rough combined with the engine mounts. I'm planning on bumping down to softer mounts. I can't really fathom the vibrations with billet aluminum mounts with no delrin.

Embrace it bud, lol. Do like me and strip the whole interior because what's the point! OK, haven't done that yet but it's on the list now.

Has there been a head count yet? I use could use these for both diff and trans, but 20% off sounds a lot better than full price.

There doesn't seem to be enough interest as of yet to even warrant a head count unfortunately. PRY4SNO and yourself have shown the most interest, I have been busy with the office being short staffed and a lot going on but I am going to go post over on S2forum right now and see if we can drum up some more interest!

I ordered from you folks before when I was working at a Porsche shop a few years back. We put a few of your bits on a 73 RS resto-mod.

Top notch stuff

Thank you! We have traditionally been focused on the Porsche market but we have begun expanding a bit to other marques like VW and Audi.

That and that I have a T44 around for product development is why I'm trying to offer you guys some goodies.

those pieces look nice, but I just completed removing all my solid mount bushings for poly as I was tired of the harsh feel.

now, if you guys want to design a spherical strut top mount for the b2 b3 and b4 chassis you may be able to take a huge chunk of business for yourselves. I for one would love something available on this side of the pond.
