Thanks derracuda! you rock buddy

okay, so my car drops RPM after i shift back into netral and slow to a stop. the RPM will dip then i have to rev the engine to keep it from dying or stalling, then the rpms will come back up a lil bit. then idles normal again... I have no idea what the car is doing...

anyways, i am gonna have to make a metal vacuum line instead of the shitty rubber lines that keep collapsing.

I also, took out the flip screen radio i had and replaced it with a normal single din cd player.

i have a question though, how come the rear speakers are on like a MONO setting? i cant have front and rear speakers set up or it will start to get all static-icky. if i put on only front speakers, then the radio sounds GREAT! put it on the rears, sounds like a LONG CAR WRECK.

if someone has a picture of what the wiring looks like behind the stereo that would be most helpful, perhaps with an aftermarket radio installed.

Front speakers are powered from the deck, the rear speakers have mini amplifiers attached to them. Basically you are sending too hot of a signal to those amps, thus they sound like shit. They are probably toast anyway. You need to replace the speakers in the back with normal speakers and run wires to them from the deck.

What amp problem? If you don't have the original speakers you don't have the amps. You have to re-wire the rear speakers.

thats the thing, they are rewired. There are new wires and the speakers in the rear are new. I removed the rear tweeters in the rear trim pieces, and other than that its just plain ole wiring.

The wiring harness that connects to the rear speakers from the radio shares a ground... why is that?

They aren't rewired if they're still using a floating ground. That's a good way to burn up the output transistors in your new head unit.

He has a point, go to your local automotive A/V store and get yourself some nice automotive speaker wire. Run it from the head unit to the new speakers.

I put an emphasis on AUTOMOTIVE speaker wire, because there is a differance between home use speaker wire, and auto use speaker wire.

I got a power flex rear diff bushing recently, but I need to figure out how to install it. I noticed that there are 4 Allen bolts holding the bracket onto the diff. Can I remove that bracket and have pressed out or even try to cut it out myself?

Yep, just pop those out, and go to town on the OEM rubber. Just remember, the little housing is aluminum, so dont go getting it too hot!

car is misfiring on cylinder 1.

new plugs, newer wires, but not cap or rotor.

i ordered a new cap and rotor and got them and they were the old orange caps that suck ass. had to reorder and get the bosch ones and VERIFY the item too.

waiting... waiting... waiting...

Check your wire orientation for cross interference!

i checked and double checked. I pulled each plug wire to see with cylinder was missing, and the only one that stayed the same with the misfire was Cyl 1.

came home from work today. Parked the car in the driveway like usual and put on the ebrake. Today i forgot to put into gear when i got out of the car.

Front right caliper was SMOKING like crazy and i had assumed a caliper was stuck. the brake pedal got rock hard and had no travel. I was in 4th gear and the car felt like i was driving with the ebrake on.

anyways, went in the house and turned around and my car had rolled down my driveway and was sitting in the road.

i was like fuck!

got in the car and drove her up the driveway, went to press on the brakes and almost took out my garage door. the brakes went to the floor. DEAD PEDAL.

forgot to roll up my windows and went to roll them up a couple hours later, stepped on the brake pedal and no more dead pedal.

pretty sure i am gonna need to go ahead and replace a bunch of parts...
