Fit is not as good as I had hoped, and it still needs paint, not sure whether
to match the roof to the car, or the car to the roof?

Mike,

The car looks stunning. I can't believe the quality of work that Paul is capable off.
He truly is a master of metalwork. Next weekend for sure is going to be excting to see the final results. I 'm really curious as to the final outcome of the new floor. I will be takng notes for sure. I know Paul is used to working on Bugatti's,Aston Martin's, Porsche's to name but a few..........but this for me is fecking awesome!!

This car is going to rock..........go Canada!!

Cheers.

Craig.

Genuine 859 inner C pillar for driver, NLA for the other side

Rear sport wheel arches tacked in place

Amazing the strength they add to the rear quarters. I have an extra set of the rear inner 859 wheel arches, email me if interested

I am glad I got to see this in person, Paul is an artist... even if I had silly potty I would not be able to make things look this good!
I was speechless.

Due to the high bandwidth Martin and Craig have been taking up on this thread the moderators have asked me to keep a lower profile.

....only 122 more pages to go 8)

Great forum, great people :D

Soon enough the only original part will be the firewall.... he should make templates of all the stuff he's making!!

We were joking around about those rockers.

Between the metal being thicker and the added inner rocker for strength,I'm sure we
could turn it into a treser sport convertible.

Mike is even contemplating not putting a cage in, seeing as the unibody is going to be so strong.

I can't wait to see the floor.

Cheers,

Craig.

yeah, but might as well put a cage since you took away about 300mm of rear leg room ;) Unless you have small children or people you'd like to cart around!

Tell me if you are getting fed up with too many pictures?

The new rockers are simply stunning, a "lot" of time was spent copying the exact taper and profile of the factory rockers. These are not
straight forward parts when you look at the detailed sweep of the doors. They are boxed two piece parts, made out of 18 and 19 gauge
metal, thicker than the originals, the inner rockers are also 18 gauge. No lack in longitudinal strength, looking forward to seeing how
the base of the B-pillars will be boxed on.
