Easy way to swap rear diff bushing without press?
Re: Bad fuel pump, but could it ALSO be something else if no
its about an inch lower than the brake and accelerator
Re: Bad fuel pump, but could it ALSO be something else if no
use that adjustment to set the height, but make sure the pedal has about an inch of play before it gets stiff to engage the clutch. if thats the case now, leave it alone. if it has no play, adjust it out for sure, your clutch is staying partially engaged and will burn it up in no time. an inch of play is standard for all cars.
Re: Bad fuel pump, but could it ALSO be something else if no
no, not play for an inch, it litterally sits an inch below the rest
Re: Bad fuel pump, but could it ALSO be something else if no
yep, adjust it out. give er an inch o play and remember to tighten the lock nut back down. good to go.
Re: Bad fuel pump, but could it ALSO be something else if no
cool, thanks guys
Re: Bad fuel pump, but could it ALSO be something else if no
Yeah what dave said. I have about 1/4" of play in mine buts because the mounting holes are a little worn in the pedal. Drives me nuts

Re: Bad fuel pump, but could it ALSO be something else if no
no, just a plain run of the mill blown timing belt smashed valves AWW
Re: Bad fuel pump, but could it ALSO be something else if no
Replaced fuel pump as i stated earlier.. but it still bogs for a little bit for the first few minutes. Also i cannot get the idle screws dialed in as the nut of the screw broke off yesterday...
Re: Bad fuel pump, but could it ALSO be something else if no
idle is still super slow when dropping back down from high RPM..
not sure why though... I have adjusted the screws and checked all my vacuum lines and still nothing.

Re: slow drop in RPMs when i am driving...
Are you still using factory isv? Mine did that before I ripped out the controller module and manually set it

Could you help me understand what i need to remove to make my car run better?
Also, i would like to offer my services to you. I have been helping to promote peoples FB pages for 100 dollars a month to help them get more coverage. I have at the moment 3 FB pages, that arent mine, that i am currently helping to boost their popularity.
If you are interested, i would like to do the same for you. 50$ of the pay isnt actually for me to pocket, i use it to promote the page for ads and or to promote a specific post in general. I can even help moderate your page and keep it updated for you if you do not have the time and dont mind putting whatever you want up there. I can promise that i will not cheat you of your money and i have good feed back and can give you references to the other pages that i help promote. I am taking classes in school to help me with advertising and such.
If you let me help you, i would like to request a trade in motor mounts when you get them done, as part of a payment. for say 3 months? After three months of SUCCESSFUL FB advertising, of course.
anyways, if you are interested, i would love to be a part of your team or business.

Re: slow drop in RPMs when i am driving...
As far as the car goes, there is an actual module that controls your ISV. Mine is located under the driver side dash. Just remove it. You may have to set your idle manually on the throttle body. Or just remove the isv completely and block off the ports. Idle will be a tad rougher possibly but meh who cares.
As far as advertising goes, Ill consider it. I really dont have a budget right now for advertising or to give stuff away. Hell, Im still trying to get the finances in order. Right now, Im already about a week behind so gotta worry about getting caught up right now

Re: slow drop in RPMs when i am driving...
hrmmm, i will look up the relay for the ISV then... Is it really that easy? the idle is shit already... i need it to run at at least 1000 to stay running. If it gets too far below 900 then it dies or chokes.
okay, the advertising. I am willing to do the advertising for free until you are able to throw me a bone. As long as you promise to remember. If you are down for that, i could possibly help you boost your page awareness to my personal connections and so on and so forth.
Hit me up via email. kuma85@gmail if you are still interested and we can chat some more.

Re: slow drop in RPMs when i am driving...
steven, dont do anything you cant reverse. you may want to fix it after all. also, the ecu controls the idle on efi cars.

You don't borrow one to diagnose your current one. They give you instructions on how to diagnose yours right there on the page I linked

Re: slow drop in RPMs when i am driving...
i briefly looked last night, i was trying to read on my phone.
Re: slow drop in RPMs when i am driving...
Okay, JHM short shifter installed now.
Winning.
Also, i went for a drive yesterday and i noticed my oil pressure was no longer sitting at 1-3 BAR but instead at 5 BAR or higher possibly... To me that isnt normal, because im used to the way the car drove before... Good? bad?
i mean the car was really driving nicely! it was pushing it and had good pull. Then i noticed that i was at 80mph at 3700RPM instead of the usual 4000RPM... did something just click in the car?
i am confused
