since i dont support 034 anymore, i will be trying to purchase items that are not from the 034 shelves, per se.

Anyways, Dave has sent me transmission mounts so i can replace the one i broke and have the other as a spare.

I ordered brand new powerflex front subframe bushings. fucking $$$, ugh.
but i got them.

waiting till the 25th and i can get those used 034 Aluminuim subframe bushings for front and rear, (doesnt count as me supporting 034 cause i bought from another person.

Traded my B4 strut bar plus cash for them. pretty sweet deal.

the guy has some other CQ parts for sale that i would like to buy but they are gonna have to wait.

i got the brake booster for my car from a B4 audi 90 V6. such a shame because the car only had 90,000 miles and it had the interior destroyed because someone left the door open. but the engine bay was PERFECT. oh well.
Image

i still have to send my original set of front and rear control arms to Dave so he can make them mega awesome. Ill be buying new poly or delrin CA bushings and that should be it, i think.

Oh and i got my Speeding G-60 t shirts in the mail the other day!

YAY!

roof rack didnt fit! Its for a car with roof rails... so if anyone wants some Yakima Rail riders footings in good shape, hit me up.

I need Q towers and Q6 clips.

the subframe bushings in front! mostly just fell out saving me the trouble of drilling those.

A 27mm Socket and a Vis Grip work nicely to punch out the old bushings and rings.

I got my Powerflex bushings in the mail the other day.

Yes, get an alignment. 4 wheel. Do the guys a favor and soak the tie rod adjusters front and rear. Break them loose if you can easily. They will kiss you if you do that for them before they do it. Audis can be a MFer if rusty. Now is the time while its all apart to antiseize everything adjustable.

Okie dokie. PB blaster is okay?

Or physically take them apart and dunk them?

If you want to take them apart, then antiseize them. Count how many turns it takes to spin each part off and replace them the same way. This will help you hugely in the long run if you ever have to do something again.

Okay I will see about that, I'm hesitant about taking anything else apart, with the chance I might have to replace something else suddenly, lol.

If I ever get some real amounts of $$$ ill get all the good stuff.

Btw Dave, my SS was denied. Fucking ass holes

Why am I not surprised! did you get that denial from SS or did the congressman call you? I say write an email to Bill O'Reilly and see if he will go to bat for you and other WW that are getting screwed thanks to politics.

I'm hearing about a lot of vets getting denied their SS. Its bull, with everything else that Is going on, getting your benefits shouldn't be something you should have to fight for!

As for those subframe bushings, coat them with some lithium grease, as well as the tube in the subframe. It will help keep things from rusting and corroding

Dave, the denial letter states that I am still capable of holding a less demanding job, even with my "delayed PTSD".

So my paranoia of rooms with an entrance also used as an exit, groups of people, sudden noises, anything that smells like a nasty portajon shit vacuum truck, etc is still not a good enough reason to not work at a normal 9-5 job in a place that is new to me or continuously crowded and loud. Coupled with the fact I rely on a cane to walk and for bad days, my wheel chair.

I am at 70% disability, and yet I can't qualify for SS. I don't understand.

Fuck the congressman, I'm going to the senator now. He's above the congressman a paygrade anyways.
And he's a retired army ranger. Hopefully he is HOOAH.

David, I will make sure I get some lithium grease. Thanks for the heads up.
Do I need to continuously need to grease the bushings?

Btw, the front tie rods are new. The rears I'm not sure of, but I have replacements just in case.

Normally a good coating when installing is all you need.

Good luck getting your benefits.
