Thats pretty damn cool though

I hit 130 in this damn thing today with very little effort. It makes my truck look like a bitch on the top end. Holy shit!

Lol. The big chassis cars are unbeatable on the hwy for super and comfort IMO. I love my 4k but it is way better on back roads, long trips are for the c4s.

Got a 200 20v trans and all associated parts coming in about 2 weeks. My buddy has a wrecked 200 20v that I am buying every last swap piece needed. All I need now is to buy a clutch from SouthBend and get this sucker ready for swap!

Hey Jared, did you know about SB's core exchange program? Ed gracefully pointed it out to me (and others) that if you send in an OEM core you can get an upgraded SB disc for like $200! Worth a look.

Seriously....fuck this car

New Filter

Fresh Synthetic Fluid

Every single FUCKING bolt was seized and had to be sawzalled off or twisted off.

To anyone that will be doing this themselves I give you the following tips:

1. Expect New Fasteners
2. Use a SHIT TON of silicone to hold the new gasket on to the pan. You will thank me later for this
3. If you do not have a flush machine like I do at work, you only need 2-3 qts of new fluid (total capacity is 10 qts)
4. Put 2-4 hours of time aside to do this. This is NOT an easy job and is very frustrating

Where did you get the filter? Can't find one, for under $130...

So buttoned up the exhaust today after work. Soon as I got home, noticed it was getting louder again....great. Realized I forgot to put the bolts back too on the crossmember under the cats. Probably why the bolts backed out in the first place. Oh well, retightened when I got home and seems to be holding up

Nice exhaust leak! I had a similar one the other day on the Cayenne. Sounded sweet once it wasn't just one bank uncorked. What a biotch it was getting some of those exhaust bolts off. I feel your pain. I had to dremel 6/6 of them off with no space and a dremel extension cord thing.

You would think it would be relatively easy on an SUV. Just an Audi/Porsche thing I guess.

Drove the car for 75 miles today city and highway. No noise, no rattles, quiet, smooth, and no fasteners broken or loosened. :)

Did another major maintenance today. Did the tie rod ends and an alignment after work. Driver side adjustment rod was seized and required torch work  . Cleaned them all up, anti-seized the living shit out of everything and threw it up on the alignment rack. Steering feels much better now. What a pain in the ass!

An alignment machine and a dyno are about the only things that would make dad's shop better. And if it were clean...

I just want to make it through winter with this thing lol!

When I do the transmission next spring/summer, I'll do the rest of the suspension.

I'll get with you on those CA bearings at some point take them from you! All my fun money is going into the dodge frantically trying to finish the cam and motor refreshment before the end of october
