well, it seems I have been put on furlough without pay till further notice. I have no idea if I will be able to make it down this year in "MY PRECIOUS" (the coupe). It really depends on when they call me back to work, and how much of my savings I'm forced to burn through. Its possible I may have to bring the 90 Quattro Sport. If that is not possible, catch a ride with friends. and lastly, cancel. It has everything to do with how soon they get me back to work.

Great timing! Right? I am however glad its not a layoff, and that I will eventually be back into it.
I'll let yall know when I do.

What are you thinking for events, itinery, things to do this year?

Keith, we are going to have another meeting this weekend and fine tune the plan.

I know Friday we'll be checking everyone in and we'll have access to the car wash station again. We might try and herd everyone up for a quick drivers meeting towards the end of the night just to make sure everyone is ready to 'fire up the quattros' and head to Cars n Coffee Saturday morning.

Sunday Im going to host the breakfast at the speedway again, that seemed to be a huge hit last year.

The stuff in the middle is what we'll be working on this weekend so stay tuned.

Ben and I have a pre-BBQ weekend planned. Everyone get ready!!! LESS THAN 40 DAYS!!!!!!!

I'm starting a new job with the state on the 16th of this month. Much more pay which is awesome, but taking time off at the state without working there for a while is kinda hard. If all else fails I might head down Friday right after work. If we lived in a perfect world I'd have Friday off and head down in the morning. But we'll see.

So... I have been working for the past 3 weeks. They only had me furloughed for a week. I even made it through another layoff. (fingers still crossed) so I guess I ought to pay my fees and get registered. Can't help being gunshy, really. Head is at the machine shop. Hope it will be returned this week for reinstallation, and the integration of Hanks "Ludicrous k26." I hope the gremlins are gone from my car, and I can run this thing full bore without any dett. Anybody want to do me a solid and buy me a demon bell for my precious?
