Started the body work on the roll pan today. I bought the roll pan second hand from a friend down in Texas. His truck was lowered and the roll pan picked up a bit of damage (scratches and scrapes) from time to time.
Now that the woman beating, car stealing, face beating ex-douchebag has come back into play, I now have more time on my hands to play with my other girlfriends. Stupid immature bitch....

Finally got the lower balljoints ordered! Going to finally rebuild the front suspension next week! I've forgotten how much I enjoy working on this thing!

Good to see some more work on this. You like working on it because you can actually see what the hell things are on it! Unlike the small Audi's we work on were you have to remove half the engine to get to anything...

My camshaft specs. Came out of a 408 so should run fairly healthy

Considering stock camshaft specs is about a 180/180 @ .050" with .410/.410, this will be an awesome wakeup

Started redoing the front suspension today. Ran like garbage at the track last night. Was spinning all through 2nd gear and couldnt even pull a 14.9

So those fancy tires did what for you?

When does the cam go in?

I was on my slicks. Frankly I think the track was poorly prepped.
Cam goes in after I decide if Im going to pull the heads and swap valves. Thinking of decking the heads .050 and running thinner headgaskets. Arp studs are only $86 for both heads so figure might as well do that too

Nice work. This thing needs to handle as good as it sounds and looks. I love the fact you are using an old chop saw vice to do the arms lol

Seriously, this is by far the worse job I've ever had to do on this truck. The transmission wasn't even this aggravating!

I still need to order the following (I'm broke as shit too atm):
Timing Chain Kit, Front main seal, pushrods, SS valves, LA style thin headgaskets, intake gasket kit, fuel rail adaption kit (or make my own which I'll most likely do), valve cover gaskets, and some other crap I'm most likely forgetting. Yay performance lol!

Got the suspension all buttoned up yesterday afternoon. Truck is SOOOO much better now. It's quieter inside, smoother, more responsive, and certainly handles better. Upon inspection of all the components, it turns out the shocks are the factory originals! These shocks have 175,000 miles on them......I guess that gives me an excuse to buy the drop springs and shocks lol

You talking about your modified one that, on slicks, couldn't run faster than a stock version? Probably not a lot of nervous 20v owners around...

Stock versions have more traction due to less power and torque

Quattro wins in the wet...
Dodge has a cool factor, cut the frame for an old cab/bed swap and it would be REALLY cool!
