run a die down over the threads, then cut them and back the die off, cleaning the threads
I was going to say something similar, except using a regular nut instead of a die.

Nada tostada....
Well, actually, just got 'er back on the ground yesterday and buttoned-up some front suspension bits. Also, I'm stuck on this power issue to the wideband controller and boost gauge, then will have to figure out the RS2 fan wiring...so freakin close man.

...So after someone planted a seed of doubt about whether or not the crankshaft bolt had the required amount of torque and due to the removal of the keyway on the crank pulley by the machine shop, I had to make this:

Update:
Been working on wiring routing adjustments and what I think is the final BIG component addition required for this project....the RS2 fan:
Plate resistor....almost looks like it was meant to go there

Fire in the hole?

Fresh snow in the hills, firing up old red, space case on the roof, skis getting a hot wax, rain in driveway with no garage is not fun, however I will take snow in them hills any day.... Let it be known, I washed the bike few weeks ago, and bam, rain, rain, rain..... Stock WX block I got here with a ported head Ferrea highflow valves, nicely ported peace sign in the exhaust manifold, with a K26 #8 turbo...

Update...
RS2 fan wiring complete. Big Thanks to Tony Lum for figuring out that the pre-fabbed wiring harness I purchased was labeled backwards! :frustrated:
Few more wiring details to be sorted out, but finally got the danggum thing fired up!
Now waiting for Rad hoses to be completed and can start adding all fluids :woowoo:

BIG thanks to the Roose brothers, Steve and Paul, of Roose Motorsport UK/USA for their assistance!
Upper may need a little more fitment attention, but should be ok for initial start-up and break-in

My bad I worded that wrong, I was referring to the lower hose on the expansion tank, I see the top hose comes from the rad, where does the bottom one come from
