I don't have the necessary documents to check, but can you confirm they're the same? I can't imagine why they wouldn't be, but it's nice to know for sure.

If you can't find any, PM me. I have a set I pulled from my engine when I upgraded. You can always get them made as well. Diamond made mine when I bought the new pistons.

The e-clips that hold the pin in are the same for sure, 20mm wrist pin. Con-rods are the same between the two engines as well.

To be clear, you want a pic of the stock 3B rod/piston/wristpin? Or a pic of the custom ones?

I'm sorry, yes - trying to get a handle on the condition. Do you know the mileage on them?

I suppose the smart thing to do would be to check the wear if possible; or I could stop being so paranoid!

FINALLY!!! Today marks the first work towards getting the bottom end built (I don't count honing and painting). I didn't get a whole lot done, but it was enough to make me feel good! Also have some pics of the corvette seats.

I guess while my car is in the shop there I should start taking some more pictures to document my project and post it up. I wouldn't want yours to get done before mine!

More progress this weekend! I finally replaced the toolset that I left at a gas station this past summer/fall... It's so nice to have my own tools again!

That's about as far I I was able to get before realizing I was missing parts (from giving them away and from not receiving everything from my order) so I spent a good chunk of time working on my buddy's 90 20vt rally car.

Here are a couple quick clips of the 90 Saturday morning. We finally got it running correctly at the end of the day. I'll have to get some video of it running full bore later.

Hot damn, lookin' great man. I am trying to decide between SCATs and IEs. Either way I want the super dooper rod bolts from ARP (not the 2000's) that IE offers.

Looking good!

Chris, whats wrong with just going with the ARP 2000's?

Nothing wrong with the 2000's. I figure at 9500 or 10k (my possible goals) its best to have the 625's.

Gotcha. That makes sense then. For my wants/needs of around 500whp i think i will be fine with the 2000's

That's what I'm looking for 8)

There was nothing wrong with my stock pump, but at 254k, I figured I'd find a new or low mileage unit. I grabbed one from Janis on here from a 70k mile 7A and will be using that.

I have a ton of pics from the wedding, I'll grab some of my favorites and put them up - it was a blast! :)

Just stock replacements - I'll have to look at the box to get a brand.

Made a good purchase last night - some cheap shelving from Lowes to get my parts out of rubbermaid bins and off the floor and into some sort of organization. Clean work spaces make for happy work spaces :P

Just a few pics and the last one is of some stuff FS but I'll make another post for that too.

More cleaning while funds are low.... of the parts variety.

I suppose the one good thing about having to go slow is that it gives me plenty of time to work the details  .... still frustrating.

and disassembled the head a bit - going to have it cleaned up and have a fresh surface put on. Might also pick up some 7A cams along the way.
