Oh, and I forgot to mention that the tall TDI 6th gear makes this car a much better road car without sacrificing much in the lower gears. There are a engines that wouldn't have the torque to pull this 6th at 75mph..... This 2.6 stroker does just fine and motors along at a civil 2200 Rpm in the process. I don't think it will be enough economy to offset the 5 mpg average of the weekend, but it should do decent on a long cruise with someone other than Hank driving. :)

No need for stroker, my lowly 2.2 manages just fine.
I get 11L/100km average but I don't drive the crap out of it like Hank does :)

This 10:1 engine on e85 and crazy flow makes for some great VE. I can cruise on surface streets at 55 @ 1600 rpm and get out of people's way. NA I bet this motor makes more than the stock URQ for hp or torque.

Found this Gem on an article somebody posted on my facebook

Co-worker friend just showed up at my cubicle to tell me a story about an old red Audi he saw at the Vegas Speedway onramp on Monday... Said it was being tailed by a BMW that was trying to keep up...and the sound thereof was awesome.

I quickly showed him a certain video of an old red Audi in the shop area of Vegas Speedway. Confirmed the same one :)

Small world we live in!

I won't turn a cold shoulder :-) True, it'll be sad to see the tall deck leave the bay, but onward and upward! Be sure to dyno it before pulling :D

The Tall deck may just end up in the Lago CQ car that has more room up front for stuff.

What is tuning like for the new stuff? Easier without going standalone?

If you swap in a full harness from a jetta, but you have a lot of crap you don't need n the stock harness, plus it is drive by wire.

I am probably going to get this on the dyno with a 3586r, test it with a 30r and 3071r billets, and then start building manifolds for the 07k.
