2.5L stroker with CT4-64 turbo. Not sure if billet or not. But by the looks of it making 620whp on 26psi! Also note that it hits 26psi by about 5000rpm, not ~4000.

I think when we hit the dyno again we should be shooting for 30+ psi and 500+whp. Looks like his car is using a stock intake with the guides still in it too.

Is he on solid lifters?(aka...mechanical) if soo he only pushed it to 7k on the dyno...

Why would he be on solid lifters? Would be pointless on a stroker that shouldn't rev much past 7,500 anyways.

Nice...too bad you can't make it to Carlisle, there may be a dyno sesh if Marc can bring the dyno down. You guys getting back on the rollers before that?

I was asking in case "mechanical" meant something else... here's his specs "It was dynod on the wheels so bhp is almost 760hp and 900nm on 1.8bars. Autronic SM4 1.09 Engine management The engine is a Diesel block + stroked bored up to 81.5mm JP pistons thermal barrier crown coating H rods 158mm, cp-service exhaust old/ new KRB exhaust on the way. 034 Billet Motorsport Clutch Package Specially maid cams mechanical lifters titanium retainers bigger valves ported head ARP studs all around in the block Synapse waistgate"

Oh, didn't see those specs... in THAT case it's even more bad ass. Tall block stroker (AAT diesel block) can still rev...mmm. Yes mechanical lifters = solid lifters.

At 100% perfect world efficiencies everywhere, a 2.5L engine making 26psi at 6800RPM at 0.50 BSFC and 12.5:1 AFR will make somewhere in the neighbourhood of 600HP AT THE CRANK!

In the lower left of the screen during the dyno pull, there is a 100.4C temperature. If that is used as ambient temperature for SAE or DIN correction, numbers could go through the roof!
It might be being used to measure some temp other than ambient, in which case hopefully the dyno knows that and does not try to use that number in its correction factor.

Is'tn that close to what dad's is making - around 550-600 depending on conversion factor?

Why would it be pointless? There's more to it then just rpm's. You can run much more agressive profiles with solid lifters and that helps.

True, the ramp rate of the lobe can be more aggressive with solid lifters, but you don't often see solid lifters in an AAN for any other purpose than to support higher RPMs. That is probably at least partially due to the potential for increased stress/maintenance in addition to negligible performance gains for the cost.

Thats on the KRB dyno aka comp europe. Kai says on his dyno that that spool you see on the graph is not the same as road spool as it's not resistance loading so they don't match.
I would send an email to Kai at krb over your turbo and setup and ask for advice as he knows his stuff, maps cars, and has a 1000 whp Audi running a comp turbo
Certainly helped me with my comp turbo choice and other tips

That's a Dynapack, and it is DEFINITELY a loading dyno.
Of course it won't match evrerywhere on the road. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th gear? Uphill, downhill? Headwind, tailwind? Full car, or driver only?
If you load it hard enough on the dyno, and have enough airflow, you _should_ approximate road spool in the upper gears.

X) The engine is maid to handle 1000hp, and several of my friends haw a lot more the me. The only difference is the turbo size on the same setup.
x) 100.4c Thats the water temp down to the left if I`m not mistaking.
x) I just to have a race intake from Furans (http://furans.se/intake_swe.htm) but to satisfy the Norwegian government I fitted a original. It will also be match ported to the head.
x) The engine is maid to rev to past 8000rpm even thou I`m not doing it on the video. Every thing in this engine has bed balanced for high rpm`s. The turbo didnt have anything more to give at that boost so dropt it at 7000.
x) The cams has a 280' duration 11mm lift and 112 LSA
