what do you plan on making for power?

no real plan... just a lot

I would be disappointed not to see over 700 though. Of course, that isn't on this turbo. That will be either on the HX52 or something bigger if that doesn't work out well

I dunno, I guess we'll see if its enough when I get there ;)

I know Janis. I have set lofty goals because I know I'd be disappointed with any less and I know I'll have the means to do it in some time. Your car isn't much different ;)

Hey Chris, are the Holset turbos T3 flanged or something different altogether? I know this probably depends on which Holset someone is referring to, but say the turbo you are currently running.

Yeah, almost all of them are t3 (or you can get them with a t3 housing). The BIG ones are T4...esque. For example, the HX52 is almost a T4. Just takes some bolt hole "modification."

Today I replaced one of the axles with another used one because the boot was beyond ripped. It should last me the drive to Carlisle (the "new" boot isn't cracked yet, but it looks like it will soon). On the subject of axles, I need to figure out what I'm going to do about axles when I go 01e. Either shorten the current ones or lengthen some shorter ones with spacers. Anyone have a spec for how much wider the 01e is than the 016? That would help with axle selection if I could get some lengths on the axles as well.

I also noticed that my front pads are getting really thin. I need to get a replacement set before the trip.

Need oil change before the trip.

Get a tire mounted on my spare.

Maybe figure out why cruise isn't working if I have time.

Also, I may have another job coming soon. It would be working for a new wind turbine company. I need to make sure they are OK with me going to Carlisle! The good news is that it pays more than the marina and I could probably still do the marina on the weekends. That would make for plenty of cash to play with on the car, but very little time to work on it. I guess I can squeeze it in at night ;) More on that after I talk with the company tomorrow.

I also need to get moving on a new(er) strut mount design when I have a more consistent schedule.

That looks like a regular set of front and rear to me. I forget what the fronts are, but the backs are 11's.

Yeah I remember that. I'm getting these for a killer deal. I'm really excited :)

8 hours a day is PLENTY if you ask me! I hope I never have to work much more than that after I'm done with school.
