I decided I'm prob going to run the GTX3076r. I'm shooting to have it done for Carlisle this year, we'll see. I still need to fix my S4.

You and me both man! I'm going to have an equal length manifold built as well. Go big or go home for the 200 :). When is Carlisle this year? Do you stay for the weekend? It'd be awesome to meet up!

Yeah, that would indeed be great. I totally forget, but have you or are you doing internals?

Not sure on the exact date of Carlisle, but there is a thread here that has it. Its sometime in late may though. Last year I arrived Friday and stayed until Sunday. It really is an awesome time.

Internals are stock and I plan on keeping them that way until next winter. Then just a set of rods, new bearings, head studs and build the head. Keep it fairly simple as ~400awhp is my goal. I want it to be pretty much as fast as my B5 and I'll be happy.

I'll look up the date and request the time off (if needed) for that weekend. Seems like a better meet for old school Audi's. I have brought the 200 to H2O the last two years and I feel like it doesn't get the appreciation is deserves at a show like that. Has to be ridiculously slammed to the ground with some baller ass wheels to be cool. Carlisle seems like it caters more to the older models. So the 200 will be going there and I'll take the TDI to H2O.

Haha, I know exactly what you're saying. Hopefully they get my message and don't send those extra mounts. I've also had ebrake cables brand new in my room for the 200 for over a year and just haven't got around to changing them. Worried they're going to be a pain I guess, lol.

Oh, you said DO WANT. LOL. I though you say "do you want" Oops. It's pretty bad ass and looks sick in the 200. Only problem is the horn ring on the 200 is on the clock spring and it has to be removed to use the S2 wheel, so currently I have no horn. I'll prob come up with something to get it to work though. I may have this one re-dyed too.

Clutch is in the mail! Went with the Clutchnet Red 2X pressure plate and Red 6 puck sprung hub. Just have to order a coolant reservoir and timing belt service parts.

Two hunj will be up and running next week if all goes well!

Think running no front snubber (on stock mounts) could do that?

Thank you very much. That's pretty much how I try to keep all of my cars. Simple, clean and tastefully modded.

loxxrider wrote:geeze how did that happen? Launch it a lot?

I barely launched it ever because the clutch was way to spent to handle a launch. It broke playing in the snow actually. Mid drift in 2nd gear, caught some dry pavement and stoped moving. It's hard to make sense of it because the clutch I would have though would have been the weaker link (and just slipped). Oh well, a new one is going in with a good clutch. Hopefully it the main shaft doesn't twist like a pretzel with a good clutch in there.

I don't really think so, although it probably did not help. The trans is mated to the engine making them like one unit so the main shaft shouldn't be affected by excessive drivetrain movement...I wouldn't think.

I've never seen or heard of a broken main shaft either. Really can't believe it with how bad the clutch was too.

I also noticed the rings on the IC, badass!

Beautiful 200. Sits perfect. Always nice seeing these cars getting the respect they deserve.

I've heard of locker 016's breaking input shafts, usually they twist alot before breaking though. A guy that used to have that Scirocco quattro with 500HP Buick v6 hill climb car used to twist and break them. He used to say to my freind who had a 4KQ " you know your not leaving here with that input shaft"
