Love the colour, it's so hard to find examples of Panthero Black let alone good pics that do the colour justice.

Hello everyone,

i haven't written anything here in the forum for a long time. But now I would like to be more active here again.
A little has changed on the vehicle since 2016. Then there are also a few pictures.

In 2017 there was an engine revision and the water cooler was changed because the temperatures in summer were too high for me.

At the start of the 2018 season, I donated the car a new BN-Pipes exhaust system from Kat. There were also new catalytic converters.
A few weeks earlier, I changed the gearbox. Right from the start, I used a V6 diesel transmission. After a long search I was able to find and install an original S8 DGV gearbox.
Shortly afterwards I was finally able to buy platinum gray RS2 Recaros. At the same time, the door panels were reupholstered.
In the summer there was a change in the cooling system. Conversion to original Audi 80 cooler.
At the end of 2018, a good friend made a short video.

The 2019 season began with new wheel bearings and new joints on the drive shafts.
At the end of the season, after years of searching, I was finally able to buy a good set of BBS LM127s. These have been completely reworked.

In winter 2019/2020 I changed a few things that had bothered me for a long time.
The oil filter was moved, the torque bracket was rebuilt, there was a new water cooler including a new fan frame made of aluminum. I also changed the V-ribbed belt drive. Some parts were powder coated in black.
After almost 9 years there was a new coilover kit. A good friend from Audiland.de gave me a good offer for a modified KW V3 at the end of 2019, which was delivered in May. However, it was not installed until August. Of course there were also modified rear strut mountings.

And finally some current pictures.

Very nice car! I'm a huge fan of v8 swapped small chassis cars.

Looks great Stefan! Out of all the wheels, those LMs look the best. And I would love to have a set of those front seats.

How is the cooling system working out with the stock B4 radiator? What fans are you running? I'm trying to get a more space friendly cooling package figured out on the Coupe (S2 "nose job"). I want to run my H1/H1 headlamps with out having to cut them in order to fit with the radiator currently installed. Right now it barely gets into the 90's on coolant temp when I beat on it.

The front seats are perfect in the vehicles. Super convenient and OEM.
I have another set of BBS Avantgarde lying here. These just have to be completed again. Visually also very nice on the sedan. But I agree with you, the BBS LM are perfect :)

The water cooling worked well last summer. I seldom had the display stand over 90 degrees.
The fans are from 'General Cap'. Both together create 3381m³ / h.
Advantage with the series water cooler. The headlights fit. A few years ago I still had an aluminum cooler and cut off the headlights
I am currently planning to install an additional water cooler. As is also the case with vehicles like the S4 B6.

Almost 1.5 years after my last post, I would like to get in touch again.

Not much happened. Everything that happens to the sedan are improvements that I have requested.

At the end of 2021 I started to construct a new brake system for the rear axle.
I also had a holder made for the Pierburg E3L fuel pump, since I was still using the standard pump.

So the following is new on the vehicle:

- Rear axle brake converted to 4-piston with separate handbrake caliper.
- Pierburg E3L fuel pump

Here are a few more pictures of the vehicle, which were taken in 2022.

I don’t think it could possibly look any better. That side profile pic is one of my favorites!

A whole year has passed, the car is running after four and is a lot of fun in good weather.

What has happened to a vehicle that has been fully assembled for me personally...

At the beginning of the 2023 season, the idea came to me again to give the vehicle a touch of motorsport.
I had been thinking about installing a shifter for a long time, but the look in the interior was too extreme for me.

Just in time for the end of 2022, CAE brought a street shifter onto the market, which does not have the usual structure, but is a little more discreet. After a short consultation with CAE, they were able to offer me the shifter for a standard gear knob and without having to pull anything up to unlock the reverse gear.

So I got one of the first shifters of its kind. You can now also order it that way.

But that's not enough. New rims were needed. Not that the BBS LeMans aren't good, but I wanted a one-piece suit in matt black with an open design. Then there are semi-slicks.

After a lot of searching, I found the OZ Challenge HLT in 8.5x18", which I liked on Anhib. After a few weeks, the set came to me fresh from Italy.

In the middle of the year the H-registration took place (vintage car registration after 30 years).

Now I'll let the pictures do the talking...
