So I take it the side valve seems to be working? its on my list to double check the actuation on it, I cant really hear a difference from inside the car, but there are other things to concentrate on at WOT in that thing... ;)

there is no organic matter in the clutch system to smell (sintered iron Southbend Stage 5) and it definitely does not slip. The tires on the other hand, have a habit of doing that on occasion.

Hah, yes, it could definitely have been tires I was smelling.

It sounded to me like the only mufflers in the exhaust path were spinning at 100k+ RPM :)

Car looks great! Can't wait to see it in person again.

Don't sweat the tail pipe, but you can polsih steel. I've sanded then buffed steel pipes before and wax can do a lot for them.

I love how your car looks fairly stock externally. Without the front plate, no one would ever know.

Janis kept wondering why I had never broken an axle despite launching the car pretty hard on a regular basis. Jynx

CV cage appears to have shattered. 80q axle I have sitting on the shelf has the same inner so I swapped it over (haven't put the axle back on the car yet but its re-assembled ready to go).

Now I remember how much I hate CV grease.

some fuel system upgrade mock-up shots :pics:

Did some thinking about regulator placement and I think I'm going to leave it where its sitting in the photos (initially I was going to put it on the firewall but that space is going to be used by a 2nd provent ccv instead). So uh. its one of the last spots left to put it ;)

So the full upgrade will include:

custom -8an fuel rails
aeromotive FPR
-10AN feed line
dual 044 fuel pumps
dual 1/2"npt drain fittings for bottom of tank, plus another 1/2" weld fitting for the top (return line)

should be dyno ready once this upgrade is complete

So up goes the boost when this is done? I don't think I ever asked you or read here what the power goals are for the car.

Just to add to my post above, not only did I see the car at Carlisle, I got a ride in it too. It was hands down THE most fun car I've ever ridden in ever. Felt way faster than other cars I've been in with a lot more power just because it can put it down the the ground and the turbos spool instantly. I'd describe it as violent and raucous in the best ways possible. Thanks again Marc :D Oh, and the girlfriend says thanks too, she loved it!

Wow, just got done reading/skimming through 76 pages of one hell of a build :jerk:. I happen to come accross this thread trying to find some information on the 3.6, and 76 pages later,,,, I think my eyes are about to bleed, lol.

Anyway, Awesome car man, looking foward to see how things work out with the 4.2.

Marc, you actually work on your own car? I see you tuning and wrenching on other's cars, but wasn't sure the coupe got any attention. I guess it does!! Looks good.
