I buddy. I'm hoping so. need to address the coolant leak on the freeze plug nipple, then it should be smooth sailing. should get a bit of time in June/July to get the tune situated.

Got my meth kit installed, and tested. Just waiting on the tuner now, dyno time should be on thursday.

Nice, are you planning on using the meth to make more power or just help manage IAT?

We got a little held up. Car made it to the tuner on Wed last week. After a quick exhaust fix ( downpipe needed connected to the back half) and a boost leak test, they found alot of leaks.
- intercooler hoses,
- bead rolled the pipes
- bad N75
- SS injector seats not sealing 100%.
After all that, the tuner, Ali, ( Kingtuner.com ) started with the idle. He was having issues with the firmware not playing well. Finally after a couple hours and a few different FW versions he got the idle stable. Hes got a few more things to do tomorrow, but it should be on the dyno and getting the engine broke in, and tuning will commence.

Well...it would not be a build by me if every step of the way was not filled with failure and struggle. With alot of help from Marc, Chris, Issam, Neacali, and others the car is running and just needs a few other things sorted lile idle and a few small things before i look at meth still.
Ive again had to cut my losses, and move away from the tuner due to tuning i felt was drastically unsafe. I dont think running 2.5° timing at WOT 22psi is acceptable...nor is the 1.09 lambda at 15psi WOT. We were moving in 2 different directions and my dyno tune became a sketchy street tune with 0 compensation and no real time frame for completion due to broken equipment in the shop.
Im moving on with my tuning process with the help of others, and hopfully get it solid in the next few weeks. Im pretty devistated and just fustrsted at this whole situation. But i will prevail. The car is safe and home, so thats my win.
Tune that has since been changed, it was concerning.

That sucks that the tuner wasn’t working out but you’re in good hands with Marc .

I understand your struggle and frustration
It took me 4 sessions to dial my car in, and at the end it was perfect.
one arrangement:
- Hello, dyno place? Will you have time next week to dyno my car?
- yes, next week we, th, fr
- ok, i call back soon
- Hello Marc, will you have time end of next week?
- yes, Thursday 12 my time
- ok, I call you back soon
- Hello, dyno place? Next Thursday 9am our time?
- ok, thats good
- Hello Marc, yes, next Thursday is good.
Drive dyno place (40 miles one way) strep the car down, setup the computer, dyno, call Marc.
Imagine if the dyno place or Marc had something already booked...

- first time was ok, few pickups and a limited IC.
-second time, revisited IC was great, but N75 (5, used) wasnt working well
-third time, new N75 (speed factory), boost just arrived, but hoses were pop-ing
-4th time, hoses, clams, pipe were re-designed, all went well
I could only recommend the dyno place and of curse Marc.
So just dont give up. once its done, it will worth it

I wish it was that simple honestly, the shop and tuner had my car for 3 weeks and they just could not figure out the AAN and Vems. It was unfortunate. The logs i have from his Dyno session and the 1 street tune session were not in the least comforting. Lots of potential issues that could cause catastrophic failure. Big one was 2.5° timing at WOT and 249kpa.
The reason i paid the tuner was quite simple, i wanted it done on a dyno not the street, and i did not want to do it. I played with vems before, and its so time consuming and it took the fun out of the car for me. I can tune it...it would take alot of time and logging...i just did not want to. Now im kinda forced into that.
Live and learn...i regret not using Marc from the start. His 7400 tune was bang on...i miss that. Ill get this one to work eventually...its just going to take time now. Lots of help from the community here and i really appreciate that.

We're getting close, got the boost up to 19psi now and holding. Lambda is solid at .81. I'd say it's probably about 85% GTG. I've got 1500km on it now. Car is on the stock WG spring and at 95% WGDC it's making out at 19ish psi. Next summer I'll get the 1.9 spring in, and get tuning meth.
I changed the Boost solenoid lines, and made them larger. The Vac lines that were on there were really small, might have had an effect on the boost issues I had earlier with ramp up.
Picked up a few new parts,
Meth throttle body adapter from Issam.
Lloyds mats
Hoping to get another 500-1000km on the car this year before snow. Had it out to a few shows, and it get alot of attention.
Build by me, and tuned by me ( with some help)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. No big changes for the car yet...next summer I'm doing some more tuning and get it all running well. Just need to dial in the boost.
Just before winter, I was able to get the car up to 23 psi andn7200 rpm WOT with a perfect .81-.80 lambda. Rhe WGDV is still a bit to low. It's holding about 15psi @WOT until 5500rpm, the ramps up to 23 by 7200.
All good fun. We're getting close.

Got a new catch can setup and PCV delete. Going to redo some intercooler piping soon just to clean it up a bit.
Imgru is not working, will post pictures when I can.

Snow performance with solenoid upgrade and VC50 controller. The throttle body spacer is from Isssm.

Suffering so weird power issues of late. Last few times out, the car has started dying on me. It always restarts.. sometimes quicker then others. But it's frustrating. I decided to relocated the battery. Hopfully it solves some issuesN if not I'll be looking at the fuel pump as it seems when I lose power it's loss of fueling .

That’s odd - I would think you would get some fuel pressure loss rather than a full cut out with a voltage drop. Do you have a voltage gauge in the car?
